BNET, the National Broadband Network of Bahrain, is the Kingdom’s exclusive owner and operator of the national fiber-optic infrastructure. Established in October 2019, BNET plays a pivotal role in Bahrain’s digital transformation by providing high-speed broadband connectivity to licensed telecom operators, who in turn offer services to end-users.
Overview
Carry out all assigned activities related to the lifecycle (planning, receiving, issuing, shipping, and auctioning) of the items in stock (other than commercial products), in a timely and efficient manner to meet the business operational requirements of the users. Ensure that inventories are active, service levels are met, and obsolescence is minimized, aligned with BNET’s performance objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
Strategic

Assist the Department Head in preparing strategy and strategic initiatives for the sub-function aligned with the Functional Strategy.

Support monitoring, tracking, and reporting performance against strategic initiatives.
Financial
-
Assist the Department Head in preparing the department budget.

Support monitoring and tracking adherence to the approved budget.
Operations
-
Supervise all activities related to inventory lifecycle and evaluate procurement processes.
-
Monitor inventory planning processes, review inventory ageing, cost, and reorder points. Review business requirements and order quantities as determined by Stores and Services team members.

Monitor optimum stock levels and rate of return on BNET’s inventory investment. Ensure approvals for reorders and validate purchase requisitions against plans and budgets.

Liaise with Legal & Regulatory teams on contract-related legal issues and ensure smooth coordination and sharing of responsibilities.

Advise the Head of Procurement & Logistics on Stores & Logistics issues and project-related risks.

Develop, plan, manage, lead, and control Stores & Logistics agreements to safeguard company operations and meet business requirements cost-effectively and efficiently.

Lead interactions with suppliers to ensure delivery of items and monitor adherence to processes and fair practices, protecting BNET’s reputation.

Monitor delivery of goods per purchase order and lead supplier interactions to resolve order-related queries.

Supervise receipt of items at warehouse/yard; investigate and liaise with suppliers to resolve product quality issues. Monitor preventive measures for future deliveries.

Lead supervision and monitor supplier adherence to shipping processes and expedite delivery of items, purchase orders, and invoices for commercial products.

مراقبة عملية تخطيط المخزون، مراجعة تقادم المخزون، التكلفة، ونقاط إعادة الطلب. مراجعة متطلبات العمل وكميات الطلب التي يحددها فريق المخازن والخدمات.

مراقبة مستويات المخزون المثلى ومعدل العائد على استثمار BNET في المخزون. ضمان الحصول على الموافقات اللازمة لإعادة الطلب والتحقق من طلبات الشراء مقابل الخطط والميزانيات.

التنسيق مع فريق الشؤون القانونية والتنظيمية بشأن جميع القضايا القانونية الناشئة من العقود وضمان التنسيق السلس وتقاسم المسؤوليات.

تطوير، تخطيط، إدارة، قيادة، والتحكم في اتفاقيات المخازن واللوجستيات المتعلقة بعمليات الشركة لضمان حماية الشركة وتلبية متطلبات العمل بطريقة فعّالة من حيث التكلفة.

قيادة التفاعل مع الموردين لضمان تسليم البنود ومراقبة الالتزام بالعمليات والممارسات العادلة، مع حماية سمعة BNET.

مراقبة تسليم البضائع حسب طلبات الشراء وقيادة التفاعل مع الموردين لحل الاستفسارات المتعلقة بالطلبات المعلقة.

الإشراف على استلام البنود في المستودع / الساحة، التحقيق والتنسيق مع الموردين لحل مشكلات جودة المنتجات. مراقبة تطبيق الإجراءات الوقائية للتسليمات المستقبلية.

قيادة الإشراف ومراقبة الالتزام بعمليات الشحن من قبل المورد وتسريع تسليم البنود، طلبات الشراء، والفواتير للمنتجات التجارية.
