Job Overview

This role involves managing the entire warehouse process from receiving to dispatch, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Inbound & Putaway

• Receive Goods Received Notes (GRNs) against Purchase Orders (POs).

• Check quantity, quality, expiry dates, and temperature of goods.

• Label and store items following FIFO (First In First Out), FEFO (First Expiry First Out), and slotting rules.

Picking & Packing

• Pick waves for store replenishment and customer orders using RF scanners.

• Pack items using correct dunnage and cold-chain handling procedures.

Dispatch & Handover

• Stage orders by route/store.

• Load vehicles and hand over shipments to last-mile teams with full documentation (STNs/Delivery Orders).

Inventory Control

• Conduct daily cycle counts and weekly reconciliations.

• Investigate inventory variances.

• Manage near-expiry stock, damages, and Return to Vendor (RTV) processes.

Quality & Compliance

• Maintain hygiene and safety standards.

• Follow HACCP/ISO 22000 checklists.

• Maintain temperature logs, pest control records, PPE use, and 5S workplace standards.

Systems & Reporting

• Operate Warehouse Management System (WMS) and RF devices.

• Update statuses in real time.

• Prepare shift reports (receipts, pick lines, shrinkage).

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Collaborate with Demand Planning, Operations, and Transport teams.

• Manage delivery schedules, priorities, and exceptions.

• Establish appropriate incentives and penalties for 3PL partners to enhance rider performance.

🚚 Supply & Operations

• Ensure a sufficient supply of operators to meet order demand consistently.

• Be the voice of 3PL partners within Talabat by listening to their challenges and collaborating with internal teams to find solutions.

✅ Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure 3PL partners comply with Talabat’s rules and requirements.

• Report to the Director of Logistics and manage a small team under your supervision.
