Job Summary

The Welding Supervisor is responsible for overseeing welding and fabrication tasks in a marine logistics company. This role involves interpreting blueprints, supervising welders, operating welding equipment when needed, and ensuring the quality and integrity of welded components and structures. The Welding Supervisor is also accountable for coordinating work schedules, maintaining safety compliance, and supporting team development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of welders and fabrication personnel.

• Plan and assign work to ensure production goals and deadlines are met.

• Perform various welding techniques, including arc welding, gas welding, and TIG/MIG welding as needed.

• Operate welding equipment, such as welding machines, torches, and plasma cutters.

• Prepare and set up welding materials, tools, and equipment.

• Clean and prepare surfaces to be welded, removing dirt, rust, or debris.

• Position and secure components to be welded, using clamps, jigs, or fixtures.

• Select and use appropriate welding techniques and materials based on the type of metal and welding specifications.

Kitchen Helper

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.

• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.

Store Manager

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to ensure that the stores operate at the optimum level in terms of Team Management, Product, Service and Organizational Policies & Procedures in order to achieve set sales targets and improve profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that the store and store staff meet KPIs and standard operating procedures to maintain company standards and achieve targets.

• Support the store in maximizing revenue, driving sales, and increasing sell-through to meet monthly, seasonal, and annual objectives.

• Assist the Area Manager (AM) in controlling stock losses and reducing controllable expenses to meet company standards.

• Monitor sales performance and KPIs daily.

• Plan daily tasks with the store team to achieve store targets.

• Ensure effective stock management and implement loss prevention measures to protect company assets.

• Maintain knowledge of and adhere to financial procedures, including deposits, daily banking, and cash handover processes.

• Assist the AM in managing, developing, and leading store staff to ensure a motivated, engaged, and knowledgeable workforce.

• Deliver regular training to store teams on customer service, selling skills, product knowledge, KPIs, policies & procedures.

• Identify, train, and develop team members for succession into managerial roles.
