Market Access Manager - Bahrain (KQOB)

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and leading the Market Access strategy to maximize GSK’s reach within the Public/Tender reimbursement system. Working cross-functionally with Government Affairs and other internal teams, you will provide the organization with strategies and tools to enhance payer engagement, leverage current opportunities, and mitigate future challenges across the GCC region, ensuring launch readiness and sustainable growth for our vaccines portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Market Access Manager, you will lead GSK’s efforts in the following areas:

• Market Access Strategy and Operational Execution:

  • Develop a detailed understanding of the access landscape across the GCC region to identify barriers and bottlenecks, both from a GSK and a patient perspective in the Tender/Public Sector.

  • Lead the Launch Excellence Plans and Market Access Strategy for the region in relation to the Tender/Public Sector, with a specific focus on vaccines innovation.

  • Establish relationships with Public Health Authorities and explore partnership opportunities to accelerate reimbursements for GSK’s new brands and formulary inclusions. Develop strategies to expand patients’ access across broader patient categories.

• Value Proposition Development:

  • Support the creation of payer-centric value propositions within the Public Sector and health authorities, enhancing patient access to GSK products in collaboration with Medical, Marketing, and Value Access teams.

  • Conduct market research to uncover access opportunities and challenges in each market, supporting business sustainability and growth.

• Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Work collaboratively with product and country teams to develop and execute Market Access strategies and cross-functional plans for GSK’s new vaccines, ensuring aligned and consistent operational execution.

  • Map and monitor the payer environment, supporting the stakeholder engagement process and alignment across therapy areas.

• Trend Monitoring and Risk Mitigation:

  • Monitor trends and evolution in payers’ policies and ways of working to identify risks and opportunities for patient access.

  • Work with Government Affairs to monitor policies governing healthcare financing and patient access to innovative medicines, contributing to partnership agendas within Public/Tender authorities.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure integration of the Market Access team with internal functions.

المسؤوليات الرئيسية:

بصفتك مدير الوصول إلى الأسواق، ستقود جهود GSK في المجالات التالية:

• استراتيجية الوصول إلى الأسواق والتنفيذ التشغيلي:

  • تطوير فهم مفصل لمشهد الوصول عبر منطقة دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي لتحديد الحواجز والاختناقات، من منظور GSK ومن منظور المريض في القطاع العام/المناقصات.

  • قيادة خطط التميز في الإطلاق واستراتيجية الوصول إلى الأسواق للمنطقة فيما يتعلق بالقطاع العام/المناقصات، مع التركيز بشكل خاص على ابتكار اللقاحات.

  • إقامة علاقات مع سلطات الصحة العامة واستكشاف فرص الشراكة لتسريع عمليات سداد مستحقات العلامات التجارية الجديدة لـ GSK وإدراجها في القوائم. تطوير استراتيجيات لتوسيع وصول المرضى عبر فئات مرضى أوسع.

• تطوير عرض القيمة:

  • دعم إنشاء عروض قيمة تتمحور حول دافعي المستحقات ضمن القطاع العام والسلطات الصحية، مما يعزز وصول المرضى إلى منتجات GSK بالتعاون مع فرق الطب، التسويق، والوصول إلى القيمة.

  • إجراء أبحاث السوق للكشف عن فرص وتحديات الوصول في كل سوق، ودعم استدامة الأعمال ونموها.

• التعاون ومشاركة أصحاب المصلحة:

  • العمل بالتعاون مع فرق المنتجات والبلدان لتطوير وتنفيذ استراتيجيات الوصول إلى الأسواق وخطط متعددة الوظائف للقاحات GSK الجديدة، مما يضمن تنفيذًا تشغيليًا متسقًا ومتوافقًا.

  • رسم خرائط ومراقبة بيئة دافعي المستحقات، ودعم عملية مشاركة أصحاب المصلحة والتوافق عبر المجالات العلاجية.

• مراقبة الاتجاهات وتخفيف المخاطر:

  • مراقبة الاتجاهات والتطور في سياسات دافعي المستحقات وطرق العمل لتحديد المخاطر والفرص لوصول المرضى.

  • العمل مع الشؤون الحكومية لمراقبة السياسات التي تحكم تمويل الرعاية الصحية ووصول المرضى إلى الأدوية المبتكرة، والمساهمة في أجندات الشراكة داخل السلطات العامة/المناقصات.

• التعاون متعدد الوظائف:

  • التعاون مع أصحاب المصلحة الداخليين لضمان دمج فريق الوصول إلى الأسواق مع الوظائف الداخلية.
