🔧 Role Overview

The Machinist will have technical knowledge and experience working with GE/Alstom and OEM turbines. Responsible for on-site machining of major rotating equipment components, setting up and operating various manual and CNC machine tools.

• Strong background in machining components for gas turbines, steam turbines, or heavy-duty equipment.

• Perform on-site machining operations such as milling, boring, drilling, grinding, and turning on large, heavy-duty equipment.

• Interpret mechanical drawings including dimensions and geometric tolerances.

• Familiarity with cutting tools, fixtures, and precision measurement instruments like micrometers and calipers.

• Respond promptly to emergency repair requests for troublesome equipment.

Project Engineering Manager

The Project Engineering Manager oversees engineering activities of the project considering the Quality, Cost, and Time Delivery criteria.

They plan overall design activities, manage the project design budget, implement design change processes, supervise, and coordinate all engineering activities required to execute the project—whether performed in-house or by suppliers/subcontractors. They ensure technical coordination of GE Vernova Grid Solutions projects and guarantee that optimized technical solutions (cost-effective, easy to install and operate) aligned with customer expectations are implemented by the project engineering team and partners. All documentation is delivered according to the project’s general time schedule.

The Project Engineering Manager is accountable for design performance in terms of time spent, deadlines, and quality, and their interventions align with the project strategy defined by the Project Manager.
