Procurement Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure competitive pricing, on-time delivery, and quality of materials and parts

• Source, select, and negotiate favorable purchase terms with suppliers, including quality, price, delivery, and services

• Identify and onboard new suppliers; negotiate contracts, discounts, and volume rebates

• Manage local and overseas deliveries, ensuring timely arrival at site/store

• Analyze and recommend procurement improvements such as quantity discounts and cooperative purchasing

• Maintain positive supplier relationships and visit suppliers as necessary

• Coordinate with suppliers and end-user departments to resolve supply issues

• Assist in resolving shipment discrepancies and transportation issues

• Prepare requisitions and purchase orders, ensuring alignment with company policies

• Track and manage records of ordered and received goods

• Perform structural analysis, prepare detailed drawings, and calculate loads
