Position Summary:

As a QSE, you will be responsible for preparing precise cost estimates, performing quantity takeoffs, supporting procurement, and managing cost-related aspects of construction projects across various trades including civil, architectural, structural, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and utilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed and accurate cost estimates, including labor, materials, and equipment

• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and scope of work

• Collaborate with project teams, engineers, and subcontractors

• Use industry software for takeoffs, estimates, and cost reports

• Support bid and proposal submissions

• Monitor actual vs estimated costs during project execution

• Conduct value engineering to identify cost efficiencies

• Assist in procurement and subcontractor selection

• Maintain cost databases and estimation records

• Support contract negotiation and risk mitigation

• Engage in dispute resolution and cost impact analysis

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, codes, and best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or Construction Management

• Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience

• Proficiency in estimating software, CADD, and BIM tools

• Strong analytical and numerical skills

• Understanding of contracts, procurement, and risk management

• Effective communicator with teamwork and time management skills

• Fluency in English is required
