Role Overview:
As a Senior Data Protection Consultant, you will serve as a strategic advisor, leading client engagements across privacy governance, compliance readiness, and risk management. You will design, implement, and oversee tailored privacy and data protection programs while ensuring adherence to global regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement privacy and data protection programs customized to client needs

• Evaluate privacy and security controls; identify gaps and build actionable roadmaps

• Lead privacy gap assessments, PIAs, RoPA, DPIAs, and audits across sectors

• Provide guidance on regulations such as PDPA, GDPR, CCPA, and emerging laws

• Develop and review privacy policies, training materials, and compliance documents

• Drive implementation of ISO 27001, ISO 27701, NIST, and other frameworks

• Support incident response planning, breach notifications, and data subject rights

• Conduct internal audits, risk assessments, and ISMS documentation

• Collaborate with client teams for end-to-end privacy solutions

• Contribute to cybersecurity initiatives including GRC strategy and audit readiness

Requirements:

• 2+ years hands-on experience in data privacy, protection, or cybersecurity consulting

• Strong knowledge of global privacy laws (PDPL, GDPR, CCPA, etc.)

• Solid understanding of ISO 27001, ISO 27701, NIST, and related standards

• Experience in privacy assessments, compliance projects, ISMS implementation

• Relevant certifications (CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, ISO/IEC 27001 LA/LI, ISO/IEC 27701) preferred

• Excellent communication, client-facing skills, and analytical mindset

• Solution-oriented, collaborative, and growth-driven approach

Must Have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field

• Professional certification in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or Security Audit, or 2+ years practical experience in these fields

• Good professional reputation with no criminal or disciplinary issues
