Introduction

Multinational School Bahrain is an inclusive BSO (British Schools Overseas) accredited private school situated in the suburb of Adliya in Manama, Bahrain. The school caters for students from Nursery to Year 13 and boasts a dedicated Learning Enrichment Department offering support to students with varying educational requirements.

History

The school’s campus has a long and colourful history having previously housed the U.S. Embassy and the New York Institute of Technology prior to becoming a school in 2013.

The school initially followed the Australian curriculum before switching to the British curriculum under its new ownership in 2017 and is now a fully accredited British School Overseas. The vibrant and welcoming school community now comprises of over 50 different nationalities and continues to go from strength to strength.

Job Requirements

Knowledge:

Evidence of up to date knowledge of the Cambridge/British Curriculum.

Understanding of the significance of our school ethos.

Understanding of the requirements of good classroom management.

Skills and Abilities:

Commitment to curriculum continuity between the phases.

Commitment to continuously updating and maintaining planning.

Meticulous record keeping of assessment and intervention strategies.

Able to provide a practical commitment to an equal opportunities policy of inclusivity.

Ability to collaborate and work in a team.

Experience:

At least two year’s teaching IGCSE English.

Evidence of previous successful teaching or of successful teaching placements.

Evidence of good personal relationships/team player.

Evidence of experience of working with students who have challenges, both learning and behaviour.

Educational:

Qualified teacher with a Bachelors degree in Education.

Attested/Apostilled qualifications from the country in which you obtained the degree.

Evidence of involvement in continuing professional development (CPD) activities.

مقدمة

مدرسة البحرين متعددة الجنسيات هي مدرسة خاصة شاملة معتمدة من قبل المدارس البريطانية في الخارج (BSO)، وتقع في ضاحية العدلية بالمنامة، البحرين. تلبي المدرسة احتياجات الطلاب من مرحلة الحضانة حتى الصف الثالث عشر، وتضم قسمًا متخصصًا لإثراء التعلم يقدم الدعم للطلاب ذوي الاحتياجات التعليمية المختلفة.

تاريخ

يتمتع الحرم الجامعي للمدرسة بتاريخ طويل وملون حيث كان يضم في السابق السفارة الأمريكية ومعهد نيويورك للتكنولوجيا قبل أن يصبح مدرسة في عام 2013.

اتبعت المدرسة في البداية المنهج الأسترالي قبل أن تنتقل إلى المنهج البريطاني تحت إدارتها الجديدة عام ٢٠١٧، وهي الآن مدرسة بريطانية معتمدة بالكامل في الخارج. يضم مجتمع المدرسة النابض بالحياة والترحاب أكثر من ٥٠ جنسية مختلفة، ويواصل نموه وازدهاره.
