Job vacancy for immediate appointment in the State of Bahrain to work for Delmon Ready Mix Concrete Company

• Since 1973 Delmon Readymix has played a major part in the construction of modern Bahrain, with well over 10 million cubic metres of top quality concrete produced to date.

• Throughout the 1980’s, 1990’s and early 2000’s the business benefited from partnerships with first Tarmac, then Redland and later technical support from Lafarge International, all leading European based international building material companies. 
• As such the company benefited from the local knowledge and expertise of a major construction company together with the latest product and equipment technology available internationally.
•  In 2006 the company went public as a part of Nass Corporation. 

• Delmon Readymix has related building material companies, these include Delmon Precast WLL., Bahrain Building Chemicals WLL and Dona Marine WLL, which between them supply an extensive range of products to the construction industry.

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic for a busy workshop in Salmabad. 

• The role involves diagnosing and repairing various heavy vehicles/equipment, while adhering to company safety standards and maintaining the highest standards of work.

Key Requirements

• • Diagnose defects and undertake repairs relating to engines, gearboxes, axles, steering and brakes on various types of heavy vehicles/equipment
• • Prepare vehicles for annual traffic passing
• • Carry out lubrication of all vehicles in accordance with company and manufacturer's guidelines
• • Service vehicles according to company and manufacturers guidelines
• • Demonstrate flexibility in line with operational requirements
• • Maintain good housekeeping whilst remaining committed to the company’s health and safety requirements

Qualifications and Skills

• • Ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years’ experience
• • Flexible approach to working hours, including attending out of hours requirements for breakdowns
• • A good understanding of safety procedures and processes when working or dealing with oils and lubricants.
• - Skill test will be required for suitable candidate.

المتطلبات الرئيسية

• • إعداد المركبات للمرور السنوي
• • إجراء عملية تشحيم لجميع المركبات وفقًا لإرشادات الشركة والشركة المصنعة
• • صيانة المركبات وفقًا لإرشادات الشركة والمصنعين
• • إظهار المرونة بما يتماشى مع المتطلبات التشغيلية
• • الحفاظ على النظافة الجيدة مع الالتزام بمتطلبات الصحة والسلامة الخاصة بالشركة

المؤهلات والمهارات

• • يجب أن يكون لدى المرشح المثالي خبرة لا تقل عن 10 سنوات
• • نهج مرن لساعات العمل، بما في ذلك حضور متطلبات خارج ساعات العمل للأعطال
• • فهم جيد لإجراءات وعمليات السلامة عند العمل أو التعامل مع الزيوت ومواد التشحيم.
