🔧 Position Overview

Our team is hiring a Journeyman Technician in Bahrain to support sustainment and modernization of advanced shipboard networks including ADNS, CANES, CENTRIXS, ISNS, and SCI Networks. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role requiring coordination with government and civilian teams.

⚙️ Key Responsibilities

• Perform system installations, sustainment, upgrades, distance support, configuration management, and CASREP support for servers, networking devices, workstations, and peripherals

• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend permanent configuration changes to shipboard networks

• Coordinate with StratasCorp dispatchers, ship crews, contractors, and vendors for troubleshooting and system integration design

• Advise customers on proper shipboard network maintenance

• Perform administrative duties such as attending technical meetings, reporting status, and preparing data for reports

🎓 Requirements

• Current IAT II or higher security certification per DoD 8570.01M; must obtain Computing Environment certification within 6 months of hire

• Minimum 5 years progressive IT experience in enterprise environments

• Basic knowledge of CANES; desired experience with ADNS, CENTRIXS, ISNS, SCI networks, Windows Server, Cisco networking

• Willingness to travel to Chesapeake, VA for up to one month of training

• Ability to work overtime and take ship rides for critical tasks

• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive to destinations as needed
