Machine Operator – Signage Production

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our signage production team. The candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting various machines used in sign fabrication, such as CNC routers, laser cutters, vinyl plotters, UV printers, and other related equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Operation:

• Operate CNC router, laser cutter, vinyl plotter, and/or large-format digital printers based on project needs

• Set up machines according to job specifications and materials

• Perform test runs and adjust settings as needed for quality output

Production Support:

• Read and interpret design files, blueprints, and technical drawings

• Ensure materials are properly loaded and aligned

• Monitor machines during operation to ensure consistent and accurate output

Maintenance:

• Perform routine maintenance on machines and report major issues to the maintenance team

• Keep work area and machinery clean and in good working condition

Quality Control:

• Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and alignment to specifications

• Make adjustments as needed and notify supervisors of any production issues

Safety & Compliance:

• Follow safety procedures and guidelines while operating machinery

• Wear appropriate PPE and maintain a clean, organized workspace

• Comply with company policies and quality standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating machinery in a signage, printing, or manufacturing environment

• Familiarity with design file formats (e.g., AI, DXF, PDF) and software like CorelDRAW, Illustrator, or AutoCAD is a plus

• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to read and follow technical instructions or job orders

• Good attention to detail and manual dexterity

• Willingness to work flexible hours or overtime when needed

• High school diploma or vocational training preferred
