Position: Security Manager and Designated Port Facility Security Officer (DPFSO)
Location: APM Terminals, Khalifa Bin Salman Port (KBSP), Hidd, Bahrain

🎯 Role Purpose

As Security Manager and DPFSO, your mission is to implement and enhance the terminal's security risk management framework. You will ensure compliance with the ISPS Code, APMM global standards, and safeguard people, assets, and operations through risk mitigation, planning, and cultural influence.

🛡 Key Responsibilities

Ensure terminal security compliance with ISPS Code and APMM standards
Conduct threat assessments, manage incident reporting, and monitor risks via Human Risks platform
Lead PFSO duties and oversee Port Facility Security Plan compliance
Develop and test security, evacuation, and crisis plans regularly
Manage security contractors and procurement in alignment with global security standards
Oversee travel security and duty of care programs for employees
Conduct investigations and lead local security culture initiatives
Deliver training, manage budgets, and develop a high-performing security team
Build strong networks with law enforcement and government entities

✅ Requirements

5+ years in a Security Manager role, preferably in port or logistics sectors
Prior experience in law enforcement or intelligence is a plus
Valid ISPS PFSO certification (within the last 2 years)
Relevant certification in Security Management (e.g., CSMP, CPP)
Experience with investigative processes and physical protection systems
Exceptional communication, leadership, and crisis management skills
Deep regional knowledge of political and security environments
Fluency in English (minimum EF level 13), MS Office proficiency

شهادة ISPS PFSO سارية (تم الحصول عليها خلال آخر عامين)
مؤهل مهني في إدارة الأمن (مثل CSMP أو CPP)
معرفة عميقة بإجراءات الحماية وأنظمة الحماية المادية
مهارات قوية في التواصل، القيادة، وإدارة الأزمات
