 Facilities Engineer (Bahraini Candidate)

Responsibilities

Maintenance and Operations:

Oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and mechanical systems.

Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules and procedures to maximize system uptime and efficiency.

Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions and system failures in a timely and efficient manner.

Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance, repairs, and installations.

Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.

Project Management

Manage small to medium-scale facilities projects, including renovations, upgrades, and new installations.

Develop project plans, budgets, and timelines, and track progress to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external contractors to ensure seamless project execution.

Prepare project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.

Administrative Tasks

Prepare and process requests for quotations (RFQs) from vendors for maintenance services, repairs, and equipment.

Evaluate vendor quotes for cost-effectiveness and technical compliance.

Assist in the procurement process for facility-related goods and services.

Maintain organized records of vendor contracts, quotations, and purchase orders.

Assist with budget tracking and expense reporting for facility operations and projects.

Prepare routine administrative reports as required.

Energy Management And Sustainability

Identify and implement energy-saving initiatives to reduce operational costs and improve environmental sustainability.

Monitor energy consumption and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.

Stay updated on current energy efficiency technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

 Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.

5 years of experience in facilities engineering or a related role.

Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and mechanical systems.

Proven experience in managing facilities maintenance programs and projects.

Familiarity with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Strong organizational and administrative skills, including experience with preparing quotations and managing vendor communication.

Proficiency in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software is a plus.

Professional certifications (e.g., CFM, P.E.) are a plus.

خبرة مثبتة في إدارة برامج ومشاريع صيانة المرافق.
