Assistant Resident Engineer

 Job Duties

 

Reporting to the Resident Engineer (RE) and/ or Senior Resident Engineer (SRE)/ Senior Project Manager, the Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE) will assist and support the RE or SRE with a range of site activities and tasks to ensure that the site activities are executed and implemented by following the construction documents and specifications.

The ARE will liaise with all relevant Authorities and Clients regarding site related requirements and coordinate with the Discipline Engineers on site..

Supervises quality assurance inspection staff and sub-consultants to verify the work is performed in compliance with the plans and specifications;

Supports the RE/SRE in assuming the Engineer's Delegate role in administering the Contract Administration.

Monitors and assumes responsibility for the safety of AECOM’s  Staff and Contractor's personnel.

Coordinates and communicates with the Client, Authorities and Contractors personnel.

Senior Inspector - MEP

Job Duties

 Be familiar with the project’s contract documents, detailed drawings, specifications, and health and safety measures together with any associated updates.

Have sound knowledge and experience in relevant Ministry of Works, EWA and other Authorities construction standards.

Ensure the contractor/s compliance with the standards and specifications of the contract documents.

Undertake all site supervision and inspections when required or instructed by the Resident Engineer (RE) or the Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE).

Liaise and daily follow up with the contractor. This is to ensure the contractor is managing its resources, health and safety, and equipment needs on the site.

Prepare daily report to the RE or the ARE. This includes works orders, materials delivery, maintaining records of the contractor manpower and equipment daily resources, and daily inspections programme.

Follow up and implement any site instructions made by the RE and ARE.

Apply and implement all quality controls and quality procedures of the site. 

Prepare any site measurements and surveying checks needed by the RE or ARE for pipes alignments and levels.

Co-ordinate and co-operate with Ministry of Works or similar Authority staff during their site inspections in or without the presence of the RE or ARE as necessary.

Monitor contractor QA/QC activities and maintain relevant records.

Assist the ARE and RE in the preparation of any correspondences in compliance with the contract documents.

Where site problems are found, work with the RE or ARE to resolve them promptly.

Monitor the start-up, commissioning and handover of the site works.

Maintain records of materials tests performed and executed works.

تحت إشراف المهندس المقيم (RE) و/أو المهندس المقيم الأول (SRE)/مدير المشروع الأول، يساعد المهندس المقيم المساعد (ARE) ويدعم المهندس المقيم الأول أو المهندس المقيم الأول في مجموعة من أنشطة ومهام الموقع لضمان تنفيذ أنشطة الموقع وتطبيقها باتباع وثائق ومواصفات البناء.

سيتواصل مهندس الموقع مع جميع السلطات والعملاء المعنيين فيما يتعلق بالمتطلبات المتعلقة بالموقع والتنسيق مع مهندسي التخصص في الموقع.

يشرف على موظفي التفتيش وضمان الجودة والمستشارين الفرعيين للتحقق من أن العمل يتم تنفيذه بما يتوافق مع الخطط والمواصفات؛

يدعم RE/SRE في تولي دور مندوب المهندس في إدارة إدارة العقد.

يراقب ويتحمل المسؤولية عن سلامة موظفي شركة AECOM وموظفي المقاولين.

يقوم بالتنسيق والتواصل مع العميل والسلطات وموظفي المقاولين.

واجبات الوظيفة

 التعرف على وثائق عقد المشروع والرسومات التفصيلية والمواصفات وتدابير الصحة والسلامة بالإضافة إلى أي تحديثات مرتبطة بها.

- أن يكون لديه معرفة وخبرة جيدة في معايير البناء ذات الصلة بوزارة الأشغال وهيئة الكهرباء والماء وغيرها من السلطات.

التأكد من التزام المقاول/المقاولين بالمعايير والمواصفات الواردة في وثائق العقد.

القيام بجميع أعمال الإشراف والتفتيش على الموقع عند الحاجة أو بناءً على تعليمات المهندس المقيم (RE) أو المهندس المقيم المساعد (ARE).

التواصل والمتابعة اليومية مع المقاول لضمان إدارة المقاول لموارده، وصحته وسلامته، واحتياجاته من المعدات في الموقع.

إعداد تقرير يومي لمدير المشروع أو مدير المشروع. يشمل ذلك أوامر العمل، وتسليم المواد، وحفظ سجلات القوى العاملة والمعدات اليومية للمقاول، وبرنامج التفتيش اليومي.

متابعة وتنفيذ أي تعليمات للموقع تم إصدارها من قبل RE وARE.

تطبيق وتنفيذ كافة ضوابط الجودة وإجراءات الجودة للموقع. 

إعداد أي قياسات للموقع وفحوصات المسح اللازمة من قبل RE أو ARE لمحاذاة الأنابيب ومستوياتها.

التنسيق والتعاون مع موظفي وزارة الأشغال أو الهيئة المماثلة أثناء عمليات تفتيش المواقع بحضور أو بدون ممثل السلطة التنفيذية أو ممثل السلطة المحلية حسب الضرورة.

مراقبة أنشطة ضمان الجودة ومراقبة الجودة للمقاولين والحفاظ على السجلات ذات الصلة.

مساعدة الهيئة العامة للاستثمار والهيئة العامة للموانئ في إعداد أي مراسلات تتوافق مع وثائق العقد.

في حالة العثور على مشاكل في الموقع، اعمل مع RE أو ARE لحلها على الفور.

مراقبة بدء التشغيل والتشغيل وتسليم الأعمال في الموقع.

الحفاظ على سجلات اختبارات المواد التي تم إجراؤها والأعمال المنفذة.
