Civil/Mechanical Engineer (CRPEP License- Category A) (Bahraini)
Key Responsibilities
-
Supervise and certify materials testing (e.g., concrete, soil, asphalt, aggregates, steel) in compliance with ASTM, BS, AASHTO, or other relevant standards.

Review and sign off on test reports to ensure accuracy and maintain professional responsibility.

Interpret test results and provide engineering recommendations.
-
Maintain and develop quality control programs in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025.
-
Train and supervise lab technicians and junior engineers.
-
Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and use of lab equipment.
-
Conduct site visits when required for field sampling and inspection.
-
Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies regarding test findings and compliance.
-
Provide engineering support in R&D, materials investigations, and failure analysis.
