Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Database Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SQL and Oracle databases, as well as cloud-based management using AWS RDS. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity, performance, and security of our databases across both on-premises and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure SQL and Oracle Servers

• Create and manage Databases, Tables, Views, Functions, Triggers, Indexes, and Stored Procedures

• Design and implement secure and high-performing database systems

• Monitor and tune database performance; apply patches and upgrades as needed

• Perform regular backups, restores, and recovery procedures

• Optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability

• Create scheduled jobs and maintain automation workflows

• Implement data encryption using keys and certificates

• Design, install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and networks

• Perform server maintenance tasks including event log review, print services, and patch management
