Experience: Well-experienced in sofa upholstery

Responsibilities:

Assisting in Cutting and Sewing:

• Measure and cut fabric according to patterns.

• Assist in basic stitching and hand sewing tasks under supervision.

• Support hemming, seaming, and attaching accessories (zippers, buttons, etc.).

Fabric Preparation:

• Iron, fold, and arrange fabrics before and after tailoring.

• Mark fabric pieces using chalk or fabric markers.

Garment Handling:

• Assist in fitting sessions, pinning clothes for adjustments.

• Prepare garments for alteration or finishing.

• Press and pack finished garments neatly.

Tool and Equipment Maintenance:

• Clean and organize tailoring tools (scissors, needles, thread, etc.).

• Ensure sewing machines and irons are cleaned and ready for use.

Customer Support:

• Greet and assist customers trying on garments.
