About the Foras Program:
The Foras Program is a 6-month traineeship investing in Bahraini young talents. GE trains fresh graduates to gain on-the-job knowledge, develop leadership skills, and acquire technical experience aligned with their academic major.

Program Overview:

• Gain real-world experience through assignments and projects related to your field.

• Develop leadership and communication skills in a supportive work environment.

• Work with the EPC COE Turnkey Partnering Team or Aero Services Sales Operations Team, supporting critical business processes like EPC selection, consortium management, sales operations, and forecasting.

What You’ll Do:

• Collect, clean, and prepare data from multiple sources for analysis.

• Support fleet analysis and data quality improvements.

• Help build pipelines for Inquiry to Order (ITO) processes.

• Assist Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) teams in forecasting.

• Ensure data accuracy and collaborate across teams to improve processes.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related fields.

• Fresh graduates or final semester students.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).

• Eligible for Foras program by Ministry of Labour and Tamkeen.

• Not registered in GOSI during the program.

• Proactive, integrity-driven, committed to continuous improvement.

• Effective team player with good communication skills.

• Fluent in Arabic and English.

About the Role
As a Senior Operations Manager, you will lead the delivery of customer equipment, facilities, or infrastructure projects within GE Digital’s portfolio. You will be accountable for project delivery, profit & loss, and customer satisfaction by managing resources and project activities. Your role influences operational efficiency and quality across teams and requires strong judgment and autonomy.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver operational results across portfolio metrics such as Orders, Revenue, Billing, Margin, and Free Cash Flow.

• Manage customer relationships at various organizational levels to ensure successful project delivery.

• Build strong partnerships with Digital Grid Software customers and stakeholders.

• Facilitate cross-team collaboration within GE to maximize synergies.

• Investigate and resolve customer issues promptly, working with GE leadership.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or Project/Business Management. A Master’s degree is strongly preferred.

• 12–15 years of business experience in operations or project management, including professional services delivery.

• At least 10 years managing teams and direct reports.

• Experience with renewable energy projects, including Green Hydrogen, PV, and Solar systems.

• Proven track record in software solutions for electrical grids (EMS, DMS, GIS).

• Strong background in improving operational efficiency in software and IT delivery.

• Customer success-oriented mindset with the ability to align internal milestones to customer value.

• Profit & Loss leadership and strategic business planning experience.

• Skilled at risk management (financial, technical, commercial).

• Experience managing international, complex projects and leading virtual, multicultural teams.

• Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of influencing executive stakeholders.

• Established customer networks at executive levels.

• Contract management and commercial acumen.

• Arabic language proficiency is preferred.

Winder - GE Vernova

Job Summary
Join Vernova’s powerful and unified force to lead the energy transition. As a Winder, you will perform mechanical disassembly and reassembly of large generator rotors and stators with high quality and efficiency, using technical drawings and work orders.

What You’ll Do

• Mechanically disassemble and reassemble generator rotors (including coupling, fans, retaining rings, blower hubs, wedges, blocking).

• Perform major and minor repairs on generator stators (end winding repairs, full rewinds, wedging, chemical application, RTD connections, high voltage bushing replacement).

• Conduct electrical tests and inspections, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.

• Braze using torch, carbon, or induction methods.

• Work independently with minimal supervision.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent technical/trade school degree (2 years).

• Extensive experience in large generator repairs including stator rewinds, re-wedging, bushing replacements, rotor repairs, brazing, etc., in industrial or utility power plants.

• Experience working on generators above 80 MW capacity.

• Proficiency in English.

Eligibility Requirements

• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on short notice (100% travel).

• Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted access to nuclear-fueled facilities.

• Willingness to work overtime and weekend shifts.

• Must pass drug and background screenings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Skilled tradesperson with experience on PG Equipment.

• Experience leading or supervising teams.

• Basic computer skills.
