1. Become a Quality Assurance Expert in Electrical Works

Job Title: Inspector I – Quality (Electrical)

Scope of Responsibilities:
Responsible for monitoring and reporting compliance with project specifications, drawings, codes, standards, and procedures during all stages of electrical fabrication, installation, erection, and testing. Supports quality improvements and provides technical supervision of Petrofac’s inspection staff. Also oversees subcontractor work to ensure quality targets are achieved.

Primary Duties:

• Witness inspections/tests according to approved ITPs

• Ensure procedures are followed during installation and testing

• Coordinate site inspections with subcontractors

• Review inspection reports and ensure up-to-date documentation

• Prepare NCRs and assist in corrective actions

• Review drawings, work procedures, and ensure compliance

• Monitor tools calibration and inspector qualifications

• Provide daily inspection reports and track ITR/RFI closures

• Participate in quality walkthroughs and perform surveillance checks

• Conduct pre-acceptance surveys and provide engineering feedback

Functional Duties – Electrical Specific:

• Inspect electrical cable trays, conduits, earthing systems, motors, panels

• Witness Hi-pot, IR, continuity, torquing, ductor, and operational tests

• Ensure correct installation and testing of transformers, switchgears, MCCs, and UPS systems

• Oversee cathodic protection (CP) system inspections and testing

• Inspect lighting systems, DBs, fixtures, and perform functional checks

• Monitor preservation and solo run tests for motors

نطاق المسؤوليات:
مسؤول عن متابعة وضمان الالتزام بالمواصفات الفنية والرسومات والأكواد والمعايير والإجراءات المعتمدة خلال جميع مراحل التصنيع، التركيب، التشييد، والاختبارات المتعلقة بالأعمال الكهربائية. يقدم توصيات لتحسين الجودة ويشرف على مفتشي الجودة التابعين لشركة بيتروفاك. كما ينسق مع المقاولين الفرعيين لضمان تحقيق الأهداف المخططة للجودة.

المهام الأساسية:

• حضور عمليات الفحص والاختبارات حسب جداول الفحص المعتمدة (ITPs)

• تقديم تقارير يومية عن الفحوصات وتتبع إغلاق السجلات والتقارير

• المشاركة في الجولات التفتيشية للجودة وتنفيذ أعمال التحقق

• تنفيذ مراجعة ما قبل القبول للأعمال وتقديم الملاحظات الفنية

المهام الفنية – الأعمال الكهربائية:

• فحص تركيب كابلات الكهرباء، أنظمة التأريض، المحركات، اللوحات

• حضور اختبارات الضغط العالي، المقاومة، الاستمرارية، الشد، والاختبارات التشغيلية

• التأكد من تركيب وفحص المحولات، المفاتيح الكهربائية، وحدات MCC وأنظمة UPS

• مراقبة أعمال نظام الحماية الكاثودية (CP) وإجراء الاختبارات اللازمة

• فحص أنظمة الإنارة، اللوحات الكهربائية، المفاتيح، وتنفيذ اختبارات التشغيل

• متابعة حفظ المعدات وإجراء اختبارات تشغيل المحركات (Solo Run)
