1. Mechanical & Electrical Site Inspector Role – Global Impact with AECOM

Job Summary:

About the Role

AECOM is seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Inspector to join our infrastructure project supervision team. In this role, you'll ensure that contractors comply with project documents, HSE requirements, and engineering standards. You'll work closely with Resident Engineers, oversee inspection requests, monitor QA/QC procedures, and help deliver projects that serve future generations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor contractor performance against project specifications

• Conduct daily site inspections and report to the RE or ARE

• Review inspection requests and technical submittals

• Track manpower, materials, and equipment used on-site

• Ensure compliance with Ministry of Works, EWA, and local authority standards

• Prepare measurements, site records, and inspection documentation

• Review shop drawings and verify alignment and levels

• Monitor commissioning, testing, and handover

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

• 10+ years of relevant site experience, preferably in the Middle East

• Hands-on experience with infrastructure and MEP systems

• Strong AutoCAD and technical drawing review skills

• Fluent in English; strong writing and communication skills

• Valid driver’s license required

عن الوظيفة
تبحث شركة AECOM عن مفتش ميكانيكا وكهرباء للانضمام إلى فريق الإشراف على مشاريع البنية التحتية. في هذا الدور، ستكون مسؤولاً عن ضمان التزام المقاولين بالمواصفات الفنية، ومتطلبات السلامة، والمعايير الهندسية، بالتنسيق مع مهندسي الموقع.

المهام الرئيسية

• متابعة أداء المقاول وفق وثائق المشروع

• تنفيذ عمليات التفتيش اليومية وإعداد التقارير

• مراجعة طلبات التفتيش والتقديمات الفنية

• مراقبة الموارد من الأفراد والمعدات والمواد في الموقع

• ضمان الامتثال لمعايير وزارة الأشغال والكهرباء والجهات المختصة

• إجراء القياسات اللازمة وتوثيق الأعمال المنفذة

• مراجعة الرسومات التنفيذية والتحقق من التراصف والمناسيب

• متابعة بدء التشغيل والتسليم النهائي

المؤهلات المطلوبة

• دبلوم في الهندسة الميكانيكية أو الكهربائية

• خبرة لا تقل عن 10 سنوات في مشاريع مشابهة (ويفضل في الشرق الأوسط)

• خبرة عملية في أنظمة البنية التحتية والميكانيكا والكهرباء

• إجادة استخدام AutoCAD ومراجعة الرسومات الفنية

• إجادة اللغة الإنجليزية تحدثاً وكتابة

• رخصة قيادة سارية
