Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile various office accounts; pay operating bills or submit appropriate documentation to the corporate office for payment. Follow up as needed to ensure timely payments and avoid delays.

• Prepare financial reports as requested by management.

The Quantity Surveyor will provide all necessary assistance to the construction supervision team regarding financial aspects and contractual matters of the project. They will participate in reviewing and approving interim payments, project variations, and other financial issues. The Quantity Surveyor will assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) in analyzing and evaluating all contractor claims and other contractual matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) with all financial and contractual aspects of the project.

• Participate in progress meetings, record and assist in preparing meeting minutes.

• Provide support to the SQS on financial and contractual matters throughout the project.

• Participate in commercial meetings.

• Liaise with the SQS to ensure timely submission and completeness of contractor monthly payment applications, assisting in finalizing payment certificates.

• Maintain and streamline all cost and quantity records.

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Utility Design Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will oversee the review of requirements associated with PMC roles for design reviews.

Key Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Project Director, review requirements related to PMC roles and provide design reviews.

• Work closely with the Lead Designer and/or Design Director to lead and direct the analysis, synthesis, and recommendation of conceptual design alternatives, establishing and communicating the design vision for landscape architectural design projects.

• Supervise the preparation, design, and presentation of high-quality urban design concept drawings and reports.

• Oversee the preparation of technical design packages through to tender and monitor construction quality.

• Have basic experience in creating utility cross sections as per requirements of local authorities in Bahrain and the Gulf region.

• Liaise with Project Managers, Discipline Leads, internal and external team members including master planners, architects, urban designers, specialist designers, all engineering disciplines, and quantity surveyors.

• Plan, program, delegate tasks within the team structure and participate in workflow reporting and planning.
