 Job Summary:

Responsible for assisting in the safe and efficient operation of the plant to support production targets. Perform routine operational tasks under supervision, ensuring safety and procedural standards compliance. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to maintain reliable and trouble-free operations.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in operating and monitoring process equipment ensuring compliance with safety standards.

• Monitor and record equipment operational parameters in the field, reporting abnormalities to the Control Room Operator (CRO) or Supervisors.

• Support system start-ups and shutdowns as directed by supervisor.

• Assist in pressurizing and depressurizing equipment and pipelines when required.

• Regularly check pressure, delta pressure, temperature, and level gauges, reporting irregularities to the CRO.

• Follow instructions from the CRO or Supervisors to maintain stable plant operations and support production optimization.

• Adhere to QHSE standards and procedures (e.g., LOTO, PTW, TBT, JHA) and ensure proper documentation of tasks.

• Participate in training and reviews of operational procedures, offering basic feedback for improvement.

• Conduct basic operational and maintenance checks (daily, weekly, monthly) under supervision.

• Assist in preparing equipment for maintenance, including isolation, draining, and decontamination.

• Ensure accurate and timely handover of information to the next shift team.

• Identify and report unsafe conditions to supervisors.

• Safely handle and top up chemicals, lubricants, and coolants, collecting samples as directed.

• Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness standards during and after tasks.

• Comply with Emergency Response Team (ERT) roles and responsibilities as assigned.

• Comply with all Enerflex HR, Quality, HSE, and all Company policies, procedures, processes, work instructions, and guidelines.

• Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.

Job Skills, Qualifications, and Experiences:

• Minimum a technical degree in Industrial Processes, Chemical, Petroleum or equivalent.

• 0-2 years of experience in a similar role within the Oil & Gas sector.

• Familiar with plant equipment, processes, and all ongoing activities.

• General troubleshooting, problem-solving, information analysis, and interpersonal skills.

• General understanding of Plant PFDs, P & IDs, drawings, Cause & Effect matrix, and Fire & Gas detection system philosophy.

• Basic understanding of Maintenance Management System (Work orders, Preventive/Corrective/and Predictive Maintenance) methodology.

• Computer proficiency is mandatory. Good working knowledge of typical Microsoft suite of software is required.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills. Good English command, written and spoken. Arabic is an asset.

• Motivated, team player, able to work within a diverse cultural environment, willing to learn.

Working Conditions:

• Remote site working conditions, hot and humid climate, long working hours, and vibrating platforms.

• Different shift schedules. Available on call.

مسؤول عن المساعدة في التشغيل الآمن والفعال للمصنع لدعم أهداف الإنتاج. تنفيذ المهام التشغيلية الروتينية تحت الإشراف، مع ضمان الامتثال لمعايير السلامة والإجراءات. التواصل الفعال مع أعضاء الفريق والمشرفين للحفاظ على العمليات المستقرة والخالية من المشاكل.

المهام الرئيسية والمسؤوليات:

• مساعدة في تشغيل ومراقبة المعدات العملية مع ضمان الامتثال لمعايير السلامة.

• مراقبة وتسجيل معايير تشغيل المعدات في الموقع، والإبلاغ عن الشواذ إلى مشغل غرفة التحكم (CRO) أو المشرفين.

• دعم بدء تشغيل وإيقاف الأنظمة كما هو موجه من قبل المشرف.

• مساعدة في ضغط وتفريغ المعدات والأنابيب عند الحاجة.

• التحقق بشكل منتظم من قياسات الضغط، والضغط الفارق، ودرجة الحرارة، وأسطوانات المستوى، والإبلاغ عن أي خلل إلى مشغل غرفة التحكم.

• اتباع التعليمات من مشغل غرفة التحكم أو المشرفين للحفاظ على العمليات المستقرة ودعم تحسين الإنتاج.

• الامتثال لمعايير وإجراءات الجودة والسلامة والبيئة (مثل LOTO، PTW، TBT، JHA) وضمان توثيق المهام بشكل صحيح.

Maintenance Technician - Solar Mars 100 Gas Compression Packages

Company: Enerflex

Summary:
Support operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing/servicing, and optimizing all facilities' rotating and static equipment in a safe and orderly fashion, as per HSE standards and Enerflex and project requirements.

Principal Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform safe and productive operation and maintenance activities on Solar Mars 100 gas compression packages and supporting equipment.

• Perform preventative/planned and corrective maintenance, supporting operations that lead to increased uptime and reliability, contributing to production and quality goals.

• Provide technical knowledge and decision-making capabilities to troubleshoot a variety of natural gas turbines, engines, and compressors.

• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment such as natural gas engines, turbines, compressors, and pumps.

• Enter information into CMMS database, create and close work orders in CMMS/SAP, and complete service reports.

• Work with mechanical supervisor to develop procedures and ideas to improve the overall maintenance program.

• Develop and follow procedures and processes as directed by the supervisor and project design requirements.

• Assist with equipment and plant operations and troubleshooting.

• Maintain cleanliness, order, and housekeeping of the entire facility.

• Perform other duties as directed by the manager.

• Comply with all Enerflex HR, Quality, HSE, Code of Business Conduct, and all company policies, procedures, processes, work instructions, and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Technical or Engineering degree in a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar environment.

• Strong maintenance experience with Solar Mars 100 gas turbines, centrifugal compressors, and processing equipment.

• Fluent in written and spoken English; Arabic is a plus.

• Able to work under pressure, a team player, positive, and respectful.

Physical Requirements:

• Remote site working conditions, hot and humid climate, long working hours, on call after hours.
