💼 About the Role
Halr Tech Group is looking for an experienced Autism Practitioner to deliver personalised, community-based support for individuals with Autism and Learning Disabilities who may present behaviours that challenge. This is not a mental health position.
As part of the team, you'll work closely with the Autism Lead to ensure services are neuro-affirming and aligned with specialist best practices. You’ll also support staff to deliver person-centred care with safety, development, and wellbeing at its core.
✅ Key Requirements

Minimum 5+ years experience in Autism and Learning Disabilities (not mental health) within social care
-
Proven experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviours linked to learning disabilities
-
Strong leadership and senior-level experience in managing teams
-
Full UK driving licence and access to a car – travel required 1–3 days/week across the Northwest
-
Candidates should clearly outline their autism and LD management experience in their CV
