Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities:

Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.

Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.

Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.

Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.

Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies.

Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required.

Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.

Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.

Traveling from the office to various sites as required.

Quantity Surveyor Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, engineering, management, or similar.

Construction estimating or finance experienced is advantageous.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Sound knowledge of construction.

Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.

Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.

A valid driver's license.

Civil Engineer

Duties

Perform civil engineering design and analysis tasks

Develop project plans and specifications

Conduct site investigations and analyze data

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on projects

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

Utilize GIS software for mapping and analysis

Conduct land surveys and prepare survey reports

Experience

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field

Proven experience in civil engineering projects

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar software

Strong knowledge of hydraulics and water treatment systems

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus

Familiarity with construction estimating and project scheduling

التواصل مع مديري الموقع والعملاء والمقاولين والمقاولين من الباطن.

إعداد التقارير والتحليلات والعقود والميزانيات وتقييم المخاطر وغيرها من الوثائق.

تقديم المشورة للمديرين والعملاء بشأن التحسينات والاستراتيجيات الجديدة.

خبرة
