 Operations & Freight Forwarding Executive (Customs) - Bahrain 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Manage file creation and all services associated with freight forwarding and logistics.

Assist with account start-up. Liaison with sales to ensure required documentation/information needed for the SOP are provided.

Monitor/audit files weekly for compliance of estimate input, profit margin setting and timely invoicing.

Assist clients in their day-by-day requests related to export/import documentation in order to ensure proper execution to the transportation files.

Provide clients with complete Flight/Sailing details in order to ensure proper flow in information is guaranteed.

Liaise with Airlines/Ocean lines in order to procure the best possible solutions (capacity and cost) to be utilized upon execution of transportation files.

Liaise with internal Network and external Partner Agents in order to guarantee the best possible service assistance.

Act quickly upon possible emergency situations that may arise within the life of an Air/Ocean file.

Network with Operations colleagues to ensure proper support is given in case of workflow overload.

EXPERIENCE

 At least 3 years of relevant and recent experience in Customs, Freight Forwarding Operations and Customer Service.

Freight Forwarding experience is mandatory.

Must hold a valid custom clearance license

Must have a valid driving license

 

SKILLS

Freight Forwarding – Solid and demonstrated working knowledge of the Freight Forwarding Industry.

Agile Skills - Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet various deadlines.

Computer Skills - Intermediate computer skills with a proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint

Analytical Skills - Strong analytical skills including ability to analyze numbers and attention to detail.

Communication – Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate with clients, carriers, other forwarders, vendors.

المسؤوليات الرئيسية

إدارة إنشاء الملفات وجميع الخدمات المرتبطة بالشحن والخدمات اللوجستية.

المساعدة في إنشاء الحساب. التواصل مع قسم المبيعات لضمان توفير الوثائق والمعلومات اللازمة لإجراءات التشغيل القياسية.

مراقبة/تدقيق الملفات أسبوعيًا للتأكد من امتثال مدخلات التقدير، وتحديد هامش الربح، والفواتير في الوقت المناسب.

مساعدة العملاء في طلباتهم اليومية المتعلقة بوثائق التصدير/الاستيراد لضمان التنفيذ السليم لملفات النقل.

تزويد العملاء بتفاصيل الرحلة / الإبحار الكاملة لضمان التدفق السليم للمعلومات.

التواصل مع شركات الطيران/الخطوط البحرية من أجل الحصول على أفضل الحلول الممكنة (السعة والتكلفة) التي سيتم استخدامها عند تنفيذ ملفات النقل.

التواصل مع الشبكة الداخلية ووكلاء الشركاء الخارجيين لضمان أفضل مساعدة خدمة ممكنة.

التصرف بسرعة في حالات الطوارئ المحتملة التي قد تنشأ خلال حياة ملف جوي/محيطي.

التواصل مع زملاء العمليات لضمان تقديم الدعم المناسب في حالة زيادة تحميل سير العمل.

خبرة

 - خبرة لا تقل عن 3 سنوات في مجال الجمارك وعمليات الشحن وخدمة العملاء.

خبرة في مجال الشحن إلزامية.

يجب أن يكون لديه رخصة تخليص جمركي سارية المفعول

يجب أن يكون لديه رخصة قيادة صالحة

 

مهارات

شحن البضائع - معرفة عملية قوية ومثبتة في مجال شحن البضائع.

المهارات الرشيقة - القدرة على تحديد أولويات المهام المتعددة لتلبية المواعيد النهائية المختلفة.

مهارات الكمبيوتر - مهارات كمبيوتر متوسطة مع كفاءة في MS Office (Outlook وWord وExcel وPowerPoint

المهارات التحليلية - مهارات تحليلية قوية بما في ذلك القدرة على تحليل الأرقام والاهتمام بالتفاصيل.

التواصل - مهارات شفهية وكتابية وشخصية فعّالة. القدرة على التواصل مع العملاء، وشركات النقل، وشركات الشحن الأخرى، والموردين.
