Job Opportunity 3: Accountant (Chemical Trading Company)

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team at a fast-growing Chemical Trading Company.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using Tally accounting software and a solid understanding of financial accounting principles in a trading environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain Financial Records: Accurately record daily transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments using Tally

• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, manage payments, and ensure timely collections

• Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements with accounting records

• GST & Taxation: Ensure timely filing of GST returns, and other relevant tax filings as per applicable laws

• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports

• Inventory Management: Track and report chemical inventory transactions in line with accounting standards

• Audits & Compliance: Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations

• Cost Analysis: Monitor and report on the costs involved in the trading process

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field

• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a trading environment

• Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP accounting software

• Knowledge of Taxation: Familiarity with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements

• Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Time Management: Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience in a chemical trading or manufacturing company

• Understanding of inventory management and cost control in the chemical industry

• Ability to handle multi-currency transactions

• التقارير المالية: إعداد البيانات المالية الشهرية، والربع سنوية، والسنوية

• إدارة المخزون: تتبع وتسجيل المعاملات الخاصة بمخزون الكيماويات وفقًا للمعايير

• التدقيق والامتثال: المساعدة في عمليات التدقيق وضمان الامتثال

• تحليل التكاليف: مراقبة التكاليف وتقديم التقارير بشأنها

المؤهلات والمتطلبات:

• درجة بكالوريوس في التجارة أو المحاسبة أو مجال ذي صلة

• خبرة لا تقل عن ٢–٣ سنوات في المحاسبة، ويفضل في بيئة تجارية

• إلمام قوي ببرنامج Tally ERP

• معرفة بضريبة GST، TDS، والمتطلبات القانونية الأخرى

• مهارات تحليلية ممتازة والانتباه للتفاصيل

• مهارات تواصل كتابية وشفوية قوية

• القدرة على العمل تحت الضغط ومراعاة المواعيد النهائية
