Equipment Automation Specialist – PTM & Crane Systems
Job Description
Job Title: Automation Technician
Job Type: Full-Time (On site)
Location: Bahrain – Manama
Our client in Bahrain supplies specialized industrial equipment—such as cranes and Pot Tending Machines (PTMs)—to leading aluminum smelting and mining companies across the Middle East, including Ma’aden and Emirates Global Aluminium.
Roles & Responsibilities
-
Provide hands-on technical support and servicing for industrial automation systems.
-
Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting on equipment like ECL product lines, PTMs, MPPCs, CTAs, and ACMs.
-
Ensure optimal performance and timely repair of equipment used in aluminum production environments.
-
Collaborate with client-side teams to ensure system reliability and compliance.
-
Travel to client sites across the GCC region to perform equipment servicing and technical interventions.
-
Maintain clear documentation of service interventions and updates.
-
Report to senior engineers and support continuous improvement in automation processes.
Requirements
-
Engineering degree or diploma in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in servicing automation systems in aluminum industries.
-
Familiarity with Pot Tending Machines (PTMs), Multi-Purpose Pot Cranes (MPPCs), Cell Tending Assemblies (CTAs), and Anode Changing Machines (ACMs).
-
Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
-
Willingness to travel and work outside Bahrain frequently.

الموقع: البحرين – المنامة
عميلنا في البحرين يختص بتوريد معدات صناعية ثقيلة مثل الرافعات وآلات العناية بالخلية (PTM) لشركات صهر الألمنيوم والتعدين الرائدة في الشرق الأوسط، مثل معادن، والإمارات العالمية للألمنيوم.
المهام والمسؤوليات
-
تقديم الدعم الفني العملي والصيانة لأنظمة الأتمتة الصناعية.
-
إجراء أعمال الصيانة، التشخيص، وإصلاح الأعطال على معدات مثل خطوط ECL، وآلات PTM، والرافعات المتعددة الاستخدام (MPPC)، ومجموعات العناية بالخلية (CTA)، وآلات تغيير الأنود (ACM).
-
ضمان الأداء الأمثل وسرعة الإصلاح للمعدات المستخدمة في بيئة إنتاج الألمنيوم.
-
التعاون مع فرق العملاء لضمان موثوقية الأنظمة والتقيد بالمعايير.
-
السفر إلى مواقع العملاء في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي لتقديم خدمات الصيانة الفنية.
-
توثيق جميع أعمال الصيانة والتحديثات بشكل دقيق.
-
رفع التقارير إلى المهندسين الأعلى درجة والمساهمة في تحسين العمليات الأوتوماتيكية بشكل مستمر.
المتطلبات
-
شهادة هندسة أو دبلوم في تخصصات مثل: الهندسة الصناعية، التصنيع، الميكانيكا، الكهرباء، الإلكترونيات، الآلات الدقيقة أو أي تخصص ذي صلة.
-
خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في صيانة أنظمة الأتمتة في مجال صناعة الألمنيوم.
-
معرفة شاملة بآلات PTM، والرافعات المتعددة (MPPC)، ومجموعات CTA، وآلات ACM.
-
مهارات تواصل قوية وتوجه ممتاز نحو خدمة العملاء.
-
الاستعداد التام للسفر والعمل خارج البحرين بشكل منتظم.

Job Opportunity: Site Engineer – Bahrain
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and supervise all on-site construction activities
-
Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety, and quality standards
-
Coordinate with subcontractors, workers, and suppliers
-
Report daily site progress and issues to the Project Manager
-
Support the Project Manager in project planning and execution
Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
-
Valid CRPEP license
-
7–15 years of site/construction experience (GCC experience preferred)

Strong coordination and communication skills

Engineering graduates or postgraduates welcome to apply
