Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled Data Engineer with over 5 years of experience to join our operations in Bahrain. This role involves working with complex financial datasets, developing ETL processes, and leveraging your knowledge of SAS tools and SQL development within a banking and financial reporting environment. The ideal candidate should have a solid engineering background, hands-on experience with SAS, SQL, and data warehouse technologies, and a deep understanding of financial reporting standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science & Engineering

• Professional training in SQL Development, SAS EG/DI, and Object-Oriented Programming (C# or Java)

Experience Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience with:

  • SAS Management Console, SAS DI, SAS Enterprise Guide

  • Base SAS, SAS Web Report Studio, Delivery Portal, OLAP Cube Studio, Information Maps, SAS BI tools

  • SAS Stored Processes, SAS Datasets & Libraries

  • Installing/configuring apps on Windows/Linux/Unix servers with basic networking knowledge (DNS, ports, firewalls)
