We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bahrain. You will play a critical role in developing, programming, and optimizing automation systems that power modern industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and program automation systems (PLCs, HMIs, industrial technologies)

• Conduct feasibility studies and recommend reliability improvements

• Perform system integration including sensors, actuators, and controllers

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize robotic and automated systems

• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and stakeholders to ensure project success

Your New Role
We are seeking an experienced Execution Director to lead the Execution Department in Bahrain. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and sitting on the Executive Committee, you will oversee Engineering, Project Execution, Procurement, and Logistics functions. You will manage multiple complex projects and lead a team of around 45 professionals, ensuring operational excellence aligned with Fives Gulf’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and technical leadership in engineering activities

• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance in project execution and workshop operations

• Drive automation and digitization initiatives to improve department efficiency

• Manage procurement, logistics, inventory, and stock to support operations

• Develop operational frameworks, policies, and procedures compliant with regulations

• Oversee departmental financial performance, including P&L and budgets

• Lead recruitment, performance management, and team development

• Ensure strict adherence to HSEQ standards and continuous improvement initiatives

• Manage multiple projects to deliver on scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant Engineering field

Maintenance Contracts Manager - Fives Services Gulf, Bahrain

Join us as a Maintenance Contracts Manager in Bahrain, leading the Maintenance Department and overseeing all maintenance activities to ensure alignment with operational goals and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

You will define and implement operating frameworks, policies, and procedures for the Maintenance Department, manage daily operations efficiently, and drive strategic and financial performance including budgeting and cost control. You will also manage stock and inventory, prepare maintenance reports and data analysis, and lead preventative maintenance planning to optimize department capacity.

Your role includes supporting bidding processes, managing change requests, ensuring up-to-date documentation, resolving technical and quality issues, driving automation and digitization initiatives, and participating in recruitment and performance management of your team.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field (MBA is a plus)

• Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience

• Experience in Aluminum Smelters preferred
