Role Overview
As a Principal Medical Writer, you will take on the responsibility of managing all aspects of medical writing in clinical trials, ensuring the quality and accuracy of documents that drive healthcare innovation. This role requires expertise in clinical and regulatory writing, a strong background in oncology (preferred), and an understanding of clinical data.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the medical writing function for clinical studies

• Write and review clinical study reports, protocols, and other regulatory documents

• Contribute to the development of clinical protocols for first-in-human oncology studies

• Demonstrate expertise in medical writing templates and software (e.g., PleaseReview, Documentum-based platforms)

• Write clear and concise scientific documents, including study reports and investigator brochures

• Lead the document preparation process, reviewing statistical output, and distributing documents for review

• Act as the lead writer on complex programs and individual studies

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant scientific, clinical, or regulatory field (preferred)

• At least 5 years of experience in a lead medical writing role within the pharmaceutical/CRO industry

• Immunology experience preferred, but not required

• Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to interpret clinical and scientific data

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent the Regulatory Project and Submission Management (RPSM) group in cross-functional planning to develop global regulatory submission and execution plans in line with the client’s needs and regulatory team goals.

• Partner with document providers to project manage the timely receipt of submission-ready documents for inclusion in global dossiers.

• Communicate external agency submission standards and internal business submission processes to ensure compliance and efficiency in the delivery of submissions.
