Our client is a fast-growing asset management firm with a strong track record and a global investment mandate. This is an exciting opportunity to join and lead their team, with the flexibility to be based at one of their office locations. The role focuses on global credit/yielding investments across international markets.

What the Job Involves

• Generating deal flow and investment ideas by analyzing relevant macroeconomic and industry trends in line with the investment mandate

• Overseeing the full investment lifecycle, including screening and analysis, presenting at investment committee meetings, monitoring investments, and managing exits

• Growing and mentoring a larger team

• Preparing, presenting, and defending internal investment recommendations

Who We Are Looking For

• A proven track record of evaluating, underwriting, and executing investment opportunities

• A deep understanding of business models and value drivers is essential

• Ability to underwrite business plans and models for credit investments across various sectors and geographies

• Strong presentation and negotiation skills

• A degree from a top-tier institution in a relevant field

About Our Client:
Our client is an innovative investment management platform in Bahrain, collaborating with world-class managers to provide clients with access to alternative investments. This position offers the chance to lead within an advanced business model and contribute to its success.

What The Job Involves:
As the Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for the leadership and oversight of several key functions, including but not limited to:

• Relationship Management: Communicating with investors, contributing to RFPs and DDQs, maintaining an investor relations database, and supporting fundraising efforts for new and existing investment vehicles.

• Marketing

• Legal

• Fund Operations

• Digital

• External Finance Function Oversight: Oversee all aspects of third-party finance functions, including fund administration, budgets, year-end audits, and monitoring portfolio company performance.

Who We Are Looking For:

• Proven experience in a COO or equivalent role in investment management, asset management, or financial services

• Strong leadership qualities

• Degree educated

• A drive to add value across all aspects of the role

• The ability to leverage AI and data analytics to improve client experience

• High attention to detail and strong communication skills

• Ability to work effectively within a senior team and manage multiple tasks and priorities

• Understanding of business planning and regulatory issues

• Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics
