Bad Debt Collection Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Understand Accounting strategy and plans, and participate in the achievement of objectives and targets.

• Follow up with clients on outstanding balances to ensure timely and accurate payments.

• Produce regular routine reports using financial reporting systems.

• Produce simple ad hoc reports for management as required.

• Analyse standard reports to identify variances and recommend solutions.

• Gather information for use in research and analysis to assist in providing advice and assistance to internal and external customers.

• Develop professional expertise through involvement in new work and attendance of training.

• Analyze accounts and group them based on importance and collection level.

• Evaluate bad debts and refer them to the judiciary when necessary.
