📌 Responsibilities

• Leadership in Safety Culture: Lead the development of a world-class safety culture and continuous improvement across business units.
• Safety Alignment: Ensure alignment of safety initiatives with company expectations and regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, TCEQ, etc.).
• Strategic Safety Leadership: Provide strategic leadership for safety in assigned business units and partner with leadership to maintain and improve H&P’s safety environment.
• Compliance and Policy Implementation: Implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Emergency Response Management: Coordinate and manage emergency responses for injuries or environmental events.
• HSE Consultation: Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and company representative in litigation.

• Team Development: Hire, train, and develop staff, ensuring performance evaluations and corrective actions are taken when necessary.
