Process Optimization Technical Lead - Full Time

Job Description

At Honeywell, the future is what we make it. As a Process Optimization (PO) professional, you will play a crucial role in delivering cutting-edge process optimization solutions. You will work closely with project managers (PMs) to oversee all aspects of process optimization delivery, from client engagement to project conception, engineering, resource management, scheduling, and implementation. Your contributions will provide pre-sale support and ensure optimized processes across various industries.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Lead the technical design and delivery of process optimization solutions that align with customer requirements, using state-of-the-art technology to unlock targeted business value.

• Identify process control and optimization improvement opportunities at multiple process industry sites.

• Conduct feasibility studies and prepare ROI by analyzing design, equipment, operational constraints, product prices, and optimization objectives.

• Provide consulting support and lead project activities, ensuring customer buy-in and successful project execution from start to finish.

• Offer pre-sale support by emphasizing Honeywell's unique capabilities.

• Conduct training for plant operations and engineering teams on Honeywell's suite of process performance solutions.

• Troubleshoot process unit operations, software, and instrument issues, and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, control utilization, and reliability.

• Act as a subject matter expert for process hazards analysis, design modifications, risk assessments, alarm management, and incident investigation.

• Recommend improvements within the engineering/product development group and prepare risk mitigation plans.

• Cultivate relationships with clients, acting as a trusted technical advisor and identifying growth opportunities.

Job Context

• Independently work on projects while supervising subordinate staff to review and expedite technical issues.

• Interact with multiple departments to meet project objectives and adhere to international standards and company policies.

Communications and Working Relationships

• Collaborate with project engineers, project managers, and internal teams to expedite project execution.

• Maintain communication with external customers, contractors, and agencies to ensure timely project progress.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in delivering process optimization solutions.

• Hands-on experience in implementing Real-Time / Multi-Variable Optimization solutions in industries such as refining, petrochemical, and oil & gas.

• Expertise in Honeywell Profit Suite and other process optimization solutions like PACE, DMC+, and RTO.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Visual Basic, CL, and Fortran.

• Experience with DCS/Operator Stations (Honeywell Experion & TDC3000, Yokogawa, Siemens, Foxboro, ABB, Emerson).

• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and control theory.

• Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.

• تقديم دعم استشاري وقيادة الأنشطة الحرجة للمشاريع، وضمان قبول العميل وتنفيذ المشاريع بنجاح من البداية إلى النهاية.

• تقديم الدعم ما قبل البيع من خلال تسليط الضوء على قدرة Honeywell الفريدة.

• إجراء التدريب لفرق العمليات والهندسة على مجموعة حلول الأداء العملياتي من Honeywell.

• معالجة مشكلات العمليات والوحدات البرمجية والأجهزة، وتنفيذ استراتيجيات لتحسين الكفاءة واستخدام التحكم والموثوقية.

• العمل كخبير في تحليل مخاطر العمليات، وتعديلات التصميم، ومراجعات تقييم المخاطر، وإدارة الإنذارات، والتحقيقات في الحوادث.

• التوصية بالتحسينات ضمن مجموعة الهندسة/تطوير المنتجات وإعداد خطط التخفيف من المخاطر.

• تعزيز العلاقات مع العملاء، والعمل كمستشار فني موثوق وتحديد فرص النمو.

• العمل بشكل مستقل على المشاريع والإشراف على الموظفين الفرعيين لمراجعة المشكلات الفنية.

التواصل والعلاقات المهنية

المؤهلات
