Cashier

Accountabilities:

Ensure availability of sufficient change-notes and coins.

Keep stock of the paper rolls and ribbons for the cash machine.

Have thorough knowledge of the payment of methods- cash, credit cards, KNet, complimentary coupons/vouchers, etc., and the procedures of transactions of each.

Be alert during transactions- invoicing, collection of payment and returning balance to customer.

Have a fair knowledge of the menu, its preparation, and its price, special offers, etc.,

Keep the Counter and the surrounding area clean and tidy always.

Be polite and friendly to our customers at all times; serve them with a smile.

Provide assistance to children, elderly and the handicapped.

Keep record of the complimentary coupons and invoices for various departments.

Keep track of the transaction during duty and prepare sales summary.

Segregate the notes, coins by the denomination, keep in the Cash Box, prepare statement, lock the Cash Box and hand it over to the Duty Manager for keeping in the Safe.

Graphic Designer

Accountabilities:

Lead, inspire and challenge the Com&In team and other functions in the store to strengthen the uniqueness and consistency of the IKEA identity in store communication.

Lead the process of planning and implementing store communication to ensure that it conveys the benefits of the IKEA Concept, completes and enhances range presentation by using proven solutions, best practices, guidelines and national directions.

Develop, implement and evaluate store communication strategies that support a convenient shopping experience by using the knowledge about life at home and shopping behavior in the local market.

Actively support in developing the department action plan with store communication initiatives that are focused on growing the business and support long-term profitability and execute agreed plans in close co-operation with other functions.

Actively contribute to the network of store Graphic Communication Leaders and share proven solutions, best practices and guidelines with the Com&In team in the store.

Set clear expectations and standards regarding routines and responsibilities, work together with the Com&In team and other store functions, act quickly to exploit commercial opportunities and understand the impact of your actions on the financial results.

Secure high standards for good visual balance and consistency, quality and simplicity, cost-efficiency and sustainability in producing and implementing all store communication.

Keep up to date and knowledgeable about home furnishing, communication and retail design trends in order to support the Com&In Manager in facilitating workshops to generate creative directions that inspire and surprise store visitors through the IKEA visual and verbal identity.

Sales Team Leader

Accountabilities:

Actively approaches customers requiring additional help.

Identifies customer needs by asking the right questions and advising on the best solutions for their homes to exceed expectations.

Utilizes different IKEA sales and communication channels effectively tailored to various customers.

Maintains a clean, tidy, priced, and fully stocked area of responsibility, ensuring IKEA's basic merchandising standards are upheld.

Conveys passion about IKEA products and continuously learns about their features and benefits, sharing this knowledge with customers and colleagues.

Understands store and department action plans and takes responsibility for achieving department goals.

Actively offers all available services in the IKEA store to help customers make informed choices, enhancing their shopping experience.

Leads and supports the implementation of planned commercial activities involving the department throughout the store.

Maximizes sales while maintaining profitability by focusing on top-selling and prioritized products (e.g., overstock/övertag).

Demonstrates the ability to analyze and adjust sales space capacities based on system parameters (sales location management) to secure high stock availability.
