AWS Infrastructure Implementation Engineer

Computer World W.L.L

  • Provide timely support for incidents, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, FSx, ALB, Route 53, and more.

  • Respond to and resolve alerts raised by monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch or third-party solutions.

  • Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes to recurring issues.

  • Experience of working with AWS Support and collaborate with other vendors in a multi-vendor support environment.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding AWS-related support issues as per SLA.

  • Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their requirements and aligning solutions accordingly.

  • Hands-on experience of provisioning AWS services in accordance with the Well-Architected Framework.

  • Configure and manage virtual networking components like Route 53 for DNS management, VPN setups, and secure connectivity to on-prem or other cloud vendors.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • AWS Certified Solution Architect/SysOps, Associate and/or Professional.

  • Experience in migration from on-prem to AWS cloud.

  • 3+ years hands-on experience in administration on Microsoft platforms such as AD/Directory services and SQL Server DBA (Always-on, clustering).

  • 3+ years hands-on experience in AWS – Infrastructure, EC2, and RDS for SQL Server.

System Administrator

  • Manage Office 365 users and Active Directory services.

  • Hands-on security best practices setup and products on Cloud, specifically on Azure and AWS.

  • Handle the telephony system, Cisco Call Manager “Support Contract”.

  • Act as L2 support for internal users and issues.

  • Handle HQ network setup and update “Support Contract”.

  • Manage all subsidiary requirements as subject matter expert.

  • Manage and handle DR Office and BCP processes.

  • Assist in regular log collection and internal security office requirements.

  • Manage patch management process on Windows.

  • Domain registrar - “Managing 200 domains on multiple registrars”.

  • Handle infrastructure-related new projects, implementation, and support.

  • 5+ years of hands-on work experience in the capacity of a System Administrator.

  • Graduation in Computer Science or related fields.

  • Certifications in Microsoft and related technologies.

  • Available to join locally in Bahrain.
