Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical services to Axens-licensed and non-licensed units using Axens catalysts or adsorbents

• Support client sites during start-ups, inspections, troubleshooting, and catalyst loading

• Monitor and analyze the performance of operating units

• Manage on-site operations under high-pressure situations like emergencies and turnarounds

• Collaborate with headquarters and local technical groups for data-driven decisions

• Recommend improvements in designs based on field experience

• Uphold Axens QHSE standards and contribute to ongoing technical training

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in petroleum refining or petrochemicals

• Strong operational knowledge and troubleshooting capabilities

• Team-oriented with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset

• Interdisciplinary communication skills

• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus

• Willingness to travel frequently across the Gulf region

Axens Middle East is seeking a Reforming & Aromatics Technical Services Engineer (F/M) to provide on-site technical expertise and support to refinery units using Axens technologies. 🔍 Job Objective

Provide post start-up services to units operating with Axens technologies and/or catalysts—covering troubleshooting, inspections, catalyst/adsorbent loadings, and performance monitoring.

🛠️ Details

• Support start-ups and field operations in coordination with Technical Services from HQ and AME

• Deliver on-site troubleshooting, inspections, and loading operations

• Analyze unit performance and provide improvement feedback

• Represent Axens in high-stress situations (start-ups, turnarounds, emergencies)

• Adhere to Axens' QHSE standards while on site

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
