Data Center Operator

Duties:

• To support Data Center (24x7 on shift basis) and maintain high quality and professional standard.
• Responsible for monitoring, controlling and/or setting-up data center resources in accordance with established procedures within a Data Center. Monitor activities and applications effectively utilizing software tools.
• Troubleshoots issues that may cause system outages & report on any issues to support groups when necessary. Initiates corrective action promptly. Interfaces with necessary customers and/or business support groups and escalates issues to appropriate persons accordingly.
• Monitor and verify the UPS, Fire Alarms. Monitors the physical environment in which computer systems are housed. Ensures the security of the environment, and that the environment is adequate for optimal system performance. If not, co-ordinate with support groups to get them working.
• Receive, monitor and process all batch processing tasks for failures and scheduling problems jobs.
• Execution of all backup tasks for various Operating Systems, applications and Databases as per the procedures and instructions.

• Execute and monitor all data center scheduled activities and jons
• Act as first level Service Desk support to solve certain technical and/or customer problems within scope of defined standards. Log and classify received Incidents, Undertake an immediate effort in order to restore a failed IT Service as quickly as possible.
• Handle incidents and keep all concerned parties informed about status at agreed intervals.
• Resolve customer reported IT problems remotely as being first/second level support and provide proper guidence to callers inquiries.
• Following the process and procedure in place and recommending any required changes based on experience in handling and reported issues.
• Ability to handle multi-task and support various users at once. Must be capable of following a job to completion.
• Conduct ad-hoc assignments and projects as directed by the management based on the business requirements.

Duties:

 Manage the life cycle of users’ access.

Review and validate accesses and profiles.

Support end users and resolve access related issues and incidents.

Regularly complete and update all the tasks assigned within the target time.

Ability to handle multi-task and support various users at once. Must be capable of following a job to completion. Follow up, troubleshoot and resolve various complex infrastructure problems.

Conduct ad-hoc assignments and projects as directed by the management based on the business requirements.

Handle Access Management Requests such as but not limited to: creating/deleting/modifying accounts, configure/manage permissions and perform access reveiew.

Handle servers related activities such is installation and maintenance.

المهام:

• لدعم مركز البيانات (24 ساعة في اليوم، 7 أيام في الأسبوع على أساس المناوبة) والحفاظ على الجودة العالية والمعايير المهنية.
• مسؤول عن مراقبة موارد مركز البيانات والتحكم بها وإعدادها وفقًا للإجراءات المتبعة فيه. راقب الأنشطة والتطبيقات بفعالية باستخدام أدوات برمجية.
• يُحل المشكلات التي قد تُسبب انقطاعًا في النظام، ويُبلغ عنها لفرق الدعم عند الحاجة. يُبادر باتخاذ الإجراءات التصحيحية فورًا. يتواصل مع العملاء و/أو فرق دعم الأعمال اللازمة، ويُحيل المشكلات إلى الجهات المختصة.
• مراقبة وتحقق من أجهزة UPS وأجهزة إنذار الحريق. مراقبة البيئة المادية التي تُحفظ فيها أنظمة الحاسوب. ضمان أمن البيئة وملاءمتها لأداء النظام الأمثل. في حال عدم وجودها، يُرجى التنسيق مع فرق الدعم لضمان تشغيلها.
• استقبال ومراقبة ومعالجة جميع مهام معالجة الدفعات للكشف عن الأعطال ومشاكل الجدولة.
• تنفيذ كافة مهام النسخ الاحتياطي لمختلف أنظمة التشغيل والتطبيقات وقواعد البيانات وفقًا للإجراءات والتعليمات.

• تنفيذ ومراقبة جميع الأنشطة المجدولة لمركز البيانات
• العمل كدعم فني أول لمكتب الخدمة لحل بعض المشاكل التقنية و/أو مشاكل العملاء ضمن نطاق المعايير المحددة. تسجيل الحوادث الواردة وتصنيفها، واتخاذ الإجراءات الفورية لاستعادة خدمة تكنولوجيا المعلومات المعطلة في أسرع وقت ممكن.
• معالجة الحوادث وإبقاء جميع الأطراف المعنية على اطلاع بالوضع على فترات متفق عليها.
• حل مشاكل تكنولوجيا المعلومات التي أبلغ عنها العملاء عن بعد باعتبارها دعمًا من المستوى الأول / الثاني وتقديم التوجيه المناسب لاستفسارات المتصلين.
