Marine Technical Superintendent

United Cement Company W.L.L - Manama

Job Summary:

The Marine Technical Superintendent provides technical support and assessment of marine machinery & equipment to the ship’s staff in order to ensure the seamless operation of these systems in compliance with the Company’s and International Maritime Laws.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensuring all Company ships/vessels are well-maintained and fully operational in accordance with Company policies and guidelines.
2. Ensuring that all navigational, safety, security, and communication equipment onboard the Company ships are fully licensed and operational in accordance with international/national requirements.
3. Ensuring that all hulls, machinery, mechanical/electrical equipment, main/auxiliary engines, pumps, etc., on the Company’s ships are fully maintained and in full operational readiness at all times.
4. Planning, managing, and implementing dry docking activities of Company ships.
5. Ensuring all maintenance records and documentation are properly updated and kept.
6. Continuously assessing the operating condition of all ships under the Company’s ownership/management and giving regular reports to the MOM.

الملخص الوظيفي:

يقدم الدعم الفني وتقييم المعدات والآلات البحرية لطاقم السفن لضمان تشغيل الآلات والمعدات بسلاسة ووفقًا لقوانين الشركة والقوانين البحرية الدولية.

المسؤوليات:

1. ضمان أن جميع السفن التابعة للشركة مُصانة بشكل جيد وقابلة للتشغيل بالكامل وفقًا لسياسات وإرشادات الشركة.
2. ضمان أن جميع معدات الملاحة، السلامة، الأمن، والاتصالات على متن سفن الشركة مرخصة وقابلة للتشغيل بالكامل وفقًا للمتطلبات الدولية/الوطنية.
3. ضمان أن جميع الهياكل، الآلات، المعدات الميكانيكية/الكهربائية، المحركات الرئيسية/الاحتياطية، المضخات، إلخ على سفن الشركة يتم صيانتها بشكل كامل وجاهزية تشغيلها في جميع الأوقات.
4. التخطيط وإدارة وتنفيذ أنشطة الدهن الجاف للسفن التابعة للشركة.
5. التأكد من تحديث سجلات الصيانة والوثائق بشكل صحيح والحفاظ عليها.
6. تقييم مستمر لحالة تشغيل جميع السفن التابعة للشركة وتقديم تقارير منتظمة للإدارة العليا.
