Thales people architect solutions that enable two-thirds of planes to take off and land safely. Function and Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and test the IFEC system on customer aircraft in accordance with approved documentation, regulations, and local policies.
- Ensure qualification compliance for assigned tasks per Thales procedures.
- Document work performed per customer, Thales, and station-specific requirements.
- Utilize the correct GSE equipment for assigned tasks.
- Perform data and administrative entries using maintenance tracking and documentation systems.
- Use properly calibrated tools and ensure accuracy in task execution.
- Inspect completed work for integrity and precision.
- Maintain cleanliness of the facility, tools, vehicles, and equipment.
- Follow safety protocols and use protective equipment when necessary.
- Adhere to calibration rules for precision tools.
- Identify and report unsafe practices while promoting a safe work environment.
- Assist other Line Maintenance Technicians when needed.
- Comply with Thales Quality and Safety manuals.
Work Experience Requirements
- Knowledge of electronics and troubleshooting gained through commercial aviation or technical school education.
- Relevant industry experience in Avionics/IFE within an airline setting.
