DOL TAP Facilitator (Part-time) - Bahrain
About the Job
Join our team to assist and prepare 200,000 service members who separate annually from the United States Military in starting a new chapter as civilians. The Department of Labor (DOL) Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (VETS) program requires contractor services to support transitioning service members through its highly successful Transition Assistance Program (TAP), which is offered worldwide.
As part of this program, we conduct job assistance workshops, employment counseling, and connect service members to approved government and non-government partners. Our mission is to ensure that service members and their families have the necessary career tools and information for a seamless transition into the civilian workforce.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Teach and/or instruct military personnel transitioning to civilian professional and vocational occupations.
✅ Guide transitioning military service members in identifying career goals and recognizing any employment or education gaps.
✅ Provide comprehensive career transition support to active-duty, reserve, and National Guard service members, as well as their families and veterans.
✅ Deliver training on civilian employment preparation, job searching, application processes, networking, technical training opportunities, and credentialing.
Ideal Profile
🎯 Prior experience in teaching or instructing military personnel on transitioning to civilian careers.
🎯 Strong understanding of career development, job search strategies, and employment coaching.
🎯 Excellent communication and facilitation skills to engage diverse audiences.
🎯 Familiarity with civilian employment trends, resume building, and job market navigation.
🎯 Ability to provide career guidance, mentorship, and job search strategies tailored to military personnel.

المؤهلات المطلوبة
🎯 خبرة سابقة في تدريس و/أو توجيه أفراد الخدمة العسكرية أثناء انتقالهم إلى الحياة المدنية.
🎯 فهم قوي لتطوير المسار الوظيفي، استراتيجيات البحث عن وظائف، والتدريب المهني.
🎯 مهارات تواصل وتقديم متميزة للتفاعل مع جماهير متنوعة.
🎯 الإلمام باتجاهات التوظيف المدني، بناء السيرة الذاتية، والتنقل في سوق العمل.
🎯 القدرة على تقديم إرشاد مهني، توجيه، واستراتيجيات بحث عن وظيفة مصممة خصيصًا للعسكريين المنتقلين.
