Job Overview:
Amana Healthcare, a collaboration between M42 and Mumtalakat, is excited to announce the opening of its first facility in Bahrain, located in Al Jasra, set to open in late 2025. The hospital will provide long-term care and post-acute rehabilitation services. Amana Healthcare aims to deliver high-quality care to adult patients with complex medical needs, through a multidisciplinary approach involving intensive care unit (ICU) physicians, geriatricians, nurses, therapists, and a dedicated patient & family experience team.
Position: Specialist Anesthesia
Reporting to the Department Head/Medical Director/Director, Clinical Operations, the Specialist Anesthesia will be responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based care, and managing patients under their care. This position requires clinical excellence and adherence to established protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the clinical activities of the anesthesia team and take responsibility for patient care.
- Adhere to organizational policies regarding admissions, consultations, patient care, surgical procedures, discharge protocols, and follow-up practices.
- Lead family-centered patient rounds and reassess both inpatients and outpatients regularly according to best practices.
- Document clinical information accurately and promptly according to established procedures.
- Prepare patients for all procedures, ensuring informed consent is obtained.
- Participate in out-of-hours (on-call) coverage, including evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Communicate clinical information to patients and their families (with the patient’s consent) in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- MBBS, MBChB, or equivalent.
- Completion of specialty qualification as per the National Health Regulatory Authority of Bahrain.
- At least 2 years of experience post-training.
- Valid License/Registration to practice in the home country and/or country of last employment (where applicable).

- الإشراف على الأنشطة السريرية لفريق التخدير وتولي مسؤولية رعاية المرضى.
- الالتزام بسياسات المنظمة بشأن القبول والاستشارات والرعاية اليومية للمرضى والإجراءات الجراحية وبروتوكولات الخروج والممارسات الخارجية.
- قيادة جولات طبية تتمحور حول العائلة وإعادة تقييم المرضى الداخليين والخارجيين بانتظام وفقًا لأفضل الممارسات.
- توثيق المعلومات السريرية بدقة وبسرعة وفقًا للإجراءات المعتمدة.
- تحضير المرضى لجميع الإجراءات وضمان الحصول على موافقة مستنيرة.
- المشاركة في تغطية الأوقات غير الرسمية (الطوارئ)، بما في ذلك الأمسيات والليالي وعطلات نهاية الأسبوع والعطلات العامة حسب الحاجة.
- التواصل مع المرضى وعائلاتهم (بموافقة المريض) في الوقت المناسب.
المؤهلات:
- شهادة MBBS أو MBChB أو ما يعادلها.
- إتمام المؤهل التخصصي وفقًا للهيئة الوطنية لتنظيم الصحة في البحرين.
- خبرة لا تقل عن سنتين بعد التدريب.
- يجب أن يحمل ترخيصًا/ تسجيلًا ساريًا لمزاولة المهنة في بلده الأم و/أو البلد الذي عمل فيه مؤخرًا (عند الاقتضاء).
