Mobile QA Engineer

The Role

hat will be your role? (Bugs and UX flaws hunter):

Plan the process of testing and prioritize testing activities.

Write comprehensive test cases to ensure thorough testing coverage.

Conduct functional testing to identify bugs, glitches, and usability issues.

Identify problem areas and meticulously document them.

Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to the Product Managers.

Collaborate with Product Managers to discuss potential fixes and improvements.

Track the life cycle of errors from discovery to resolution.

Re-test fixed defects to verify successful resolution.

Maintain and update test documentation to reflect the latest changes and findings.

Team Player

Work closely with the Product Managers, and developers to ensure alignment on testing goals and priorities.

Take direction and feedback from the team while actively contributing your own insights and ideas.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices for QA testing in mobile games.

 

Your Profile

2+ years of experience with testing tools and Agile methodologies in a software development environment.

2+ years of experience in the mobile apps or mobile games industries, with a strong understanding of both Apple and Google Play platforms, with their unique OS and challenges

Proven experience in preparing detailed test cases, executing them methodically, and accurately reporting bugs.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate issues and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 

Finds excitement in finding bugs in the Apps, like a detective looking for flaws in a case.

Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, particularly in identifying and breaking UX or UI elements.

Versatile, able to juggle multiple projects at once. 

Extremely thorough and detail oriented.
