Engineering Manager, Cells Infrastructure
As an Engineering Manager at GitLab, your primary focus is on your team—guiding their growth and ensuring their success. While you have strong technical credibility, your role centers around leadership, empowerment, and fostering productivity.
In this position, you will lead the Cells Infrastructure team, which is responsible for developing key services and components of GitLab’s horizontally scalable Cells architecture.
Your challenges will include talent development, productivity enhancement, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering leadership, product managers, and backend engineers. Your leadership will impact the entire GitLab product as we transition to the Cells architecture.
Principal Engineer, Group Tenant Scale
Group Tenant Scale (GTS) is building GitLab’s next-generation, multi-tenant, horizontally scalable SaaS platform. As a Principal Engineer, you will play a critical role in crafting the technical foundations that enable engineering teams to deliver high-performance features.
We are looking for a professional with a strong background in distributed systems to help shape and deliver this vision.

Senior Engineering Manager, Software Supply Chain Security
What You’ll Do:
- Build a globally distributed, high-performing team through strategic hiring and retention.
- Identify emerging software supply chain threats and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and grow your team's expertise.
- Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams across GitLab.
- Implement security metrics like Third-Party Component Risk Score (TPCRS) and Supply Chain Attack Surface (SCAS).
- Plan and execute long-term strategies aligned with business objectives.
Intermediate Site Reliability Engineer, FinOps
As a FinOps Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at GitLab, you will ensure the reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of user-facing services and internal systems.
Your Role Will Include:
- Balancing operational discipline with automation and engineering best practices.
- Integrating FinOps principles into GitLab’s infrastructure and operational strategy.
