Your Job
As an EU Technical Marketing Specialist for the SIM and Cordura® business, you will be responsible for engaging with customers and providing technical advisory services while identifying opportunities and fostering relationships across the textile and automotive industries. This role involves up to 50% travel.

What You Will Do
- Engage with internal and external customers, building strong relationships with multiple contacts.
- Identify new opportunities by discovering unmet customer needs.
- Gain market insights by interacting with key customers.
- Articulate technical information in simple, understandable messages.
- Assess customer’s development directions, capabilities, and capital investment.
- Develop in-depth textile knowledge or rapidly learn textile properties and technology.
- Provide technical advisory services to key customers and resolve quality issues.
- Execute trials and assist in product development, recommending improvements.
- Establish the Value-in-Use of our products, identifying areas of advantage and eliminating costs.
- Work with tollers, auditing capabilities, and addressing quality issues from customers.
Who You Are
We are looking for a proactive and critical thinker with experience in the textile industry and automotive sector. You will need to prioritize your workload effectively, demonstrate entrepreneurial thinking, and excel at identifying and capturing process improvements.
Qualifications
- Several years of experience in the textile industry, with automotive industry experience preferred.
- Understanding of the qualification process and customer-facing roles.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated economic thinking and principled entrepreneurship.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
