Qualifications:
- 10+ years as a portfolio manager, preferably within the top 50 pharmaceutical companies and enterprise B2B SaaS industry
- Master’s degree (in a science discipline) or advanced business degree preferred

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and set priorities
- Ability to work in a high-energy team environment
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel/Word/PPT)
- Proven track record of high-level sales performance in a competitive, dynamic marketplace

Director of Business Development
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue strategic business with new clients
- Identify and pursue business growth opportunities within assigned clients
- Conduct discovery to understand and qualify client needs, including business model, corporate objectives, and priorities
- Negotiate contract terms by understanding decision timelines, challenges, and financial position
- Lead and facilitate client meetings with consulting resources
- Act as the main liaison for clients and Certara
- Facilitate execution of CDA/MSA
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely delivery and quality of project deliverables
- Communicate issues, status, and resolution regularly
- Provide leadership and timely feedback to stakeholders, including senior management
- Ensure Salesforce is properly updated

Responsibilities:
Technical:
- Postdoctoral experience in systems modeling for drug discovery/development teams
- PhD (or equivalent) in life sciences, engineering, computer sciences, mathematics, physics, or related fields
- Strong understanding of PKPD, pharmacology, and biology in drug discovery and development
- Hands-on expertise with Matlab, Neuron, or similar modeling software
- Strong publication record based on experience
Team Working:
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Skilled at facilitating multi-disciplinary teams on complex projects
- Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Organized with a proven track record of delivering quality results on time
Associate Principal Scientist, QSP
