Position: Restaurant Supervisor

Location: Bahrain Financial Harbour

Position Summary:

This position is to assist the management team during service operations at a new and vibrant fine dining restaurant opening soon in Bahrain Financial Harbour. Its goal is to maximize organization, service, and overall F&B standards.

Position Responsibilities:

• Assist the Restaurant General Manager in training and supervising front-of-house staff members.
• Supervise the floor during service and ensure that all standards set forth by management are met.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, to provide clear direction to the staff.
• Observe performance and encourage improvement where necessary.
• Ensure staffing levels are accurate based on the business needs.
• Organize and ensure staff attendance for pre-shift and department meetings.
• Communicate with the staff on pertinent information such as menu changes, equipment issues, reservations, and guest's special needs.
• Ensure that all steps of service, policies, and procedures are followed daily.
• Learn and utilize the current Point of Sales system.
• Follow proper cash handling protocol.
• Communicate with all guests with a clear and kind tone and resolve any conflicts to ensure the guest's highest satisfaction.
• Communicate and move throughout the restaurant and kitchen areas to monitor and take actions to ensure food quality and service standards are met.
• Provide guidance to staff when needed.

Work Contacts:

• Daily contact with the Restaurant General Manager, Executive Chef, Bar Manager, and Top Management.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant daily, ensuring the proper functionality of all front-of-house needs.
• Ensure equipment maintenance by alerting the GM of items that need repair.
• Conduct competitive research on food, equipment, and Point of Sales systems, training, and trends.
• Attend mandatory meetings as needed.
• Support the entire team as needed.

Physical Effort:

This position requires minimal stooping, lifting, and substantial walking. All employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to work in a high-volume fast-paced environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of two years fine dining, full-service restaurant experience, supervisory role preferred.
• Advanced skills in Restaurant Point of Sales experience.
• Must have extensive beverage and wine knowledge.
• Advanced oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks.

• الإشراف على الخدمة أثناء العمل والتأكد من تطبيق جميع المعايير التي وضعتها الإدارة.
• التواصل الفعال شفهيًا وكتابيًا، لتوجيه الفريق بشكل واضح.
• مراقبة أداء الموظفين وتشجيع التحسين عند الحاجة.
• ضمان دقة مستويات التوظيف بناءً على احتياجات العمل.
• تنظيم والتأكد من حضور الموظفين للاجتماعات قبل الوردية والاجتماعات الداخلية.

• تقديم الإرشادات عند الحاجة.

الاتصالات الوظيفية:

• الاتصال اليومي مع المدير العام للمطعم، الشيف التنفيذي، مدير البار، والإدارة العليا.

المسؤوليات الإشرافية:

• الحفاظ على نظافة المطعم يوميًا، بما في ذلك التأكد من الوظائف المناسبة لجميع احتياجات الخدمة الأمامية.
