Position: Senior Fund Accountant

Location: Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain
Department: Operations
Employment Type: Full-time
Seniority Level: Mid-level

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily administration of assigned portfolios, acting as the main point of contact for Investment Managers and investors.
• Monitor fund cash flows and prepare periodic broker/cash reconciliations.
• Coordinate with prime brokers and Investment Managers to resolve cash discrepancies.
• Track portfolio positions and report any variances to management.
• Process corporate actions to ensure cash accounts and positions are balanced.
• Independently price investment positions on a regular basis (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annually).
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting in compliance with accounting standards, fund documentation, and local regulations.
• Prepare Net Asset Valuation (NAV) reports as required by Investment Managers.
• Process subscriptions and redemptions efficiently.
• Ensure AML compliance for capital activities documentation.
• Develop strong client relationships and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with auditors to ensure timely audit completion.
• Work closely with internal teams to meet operational deadlines.

Required Qualifications:

• Academic background in Accounting or Finance, with relevant certifications preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong technical accounting and reporting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in IT systems related to finance and accounting.

المهام والمسؤوليات:

• إدارة العمليات اليومية للمحفظة المالية وتقديم الدعم لمدير الاستثمار والمستثمرين.
• مراقبة التدفقات النقدية للصناديق وإعداد تسويات الوسطاء والحسابات النقدية بشكل دوري.
• التنسيق مع الوسطاء الرئيسيين ومديري الاستثمار لحل الفروقات النقدية.
• مراقبة مراكز المحفظة وإبلاغ المدير عن أي اختلافات.
• معالجة الإجراءات المؤسسية لضمان التوافق بين الحسابات النقدية والمراكز المالية.
• تقييم مراكز الاستثمار بشكل دوري (شهري، أسبوعي، ربع سنوي، سنوي أو يومي).
• ضمان إعداد التقارير المالية وفقًا للمعايير المحاسبية المعتمدة واللوائح المحلية وإجراءات الشركة.
• إعداد القيمة الصافية للأصول (NAV) للصناديق وفقًا لمتطلبات مديري الاستثمار.
• تنفيذ عمليات الاكتتاب والاسترداد في الوقت المناسب.
• ضمان الامتثال لمتطلبات مكافحة غسيل الأموال (AML) فيما يتعلق بأنشطة رأس المال.
• بناء علاقات مهنية ممتازة مع العملاء وضمان الامتثال للوائح والتشريعات.
• التنسيق مع المدققين لضمان استكمال عمليات التدقيق في الوقت المحدد.
• التعاون مع فرق العمل الأخرى لضمان الوفاء بجميع المتطلبات التشغيلية.

المؤهلات المطلوبة:

• خلفية أكاديمية في المحاسبة أو المالية، مع شهادات مهنية مفضلة.
• خبرة من 1 إلى 2 سنة في دور مماثل.
• مهارات تقنية قوية في المحاسبة وإعداد التقارير.
• مهارات تواصل كتابية وشفهية ممتازة.
• مهارات تقنية معلومات جيدة.
