Amana Healthcare - Bahrain will provide integrated services that support and complement Bahrain's existing healthcare system in the area of long-term care (LTC), consisting of post-acute treatment, care, and support delivered in a specialized tech-enabled long-term care facility that is expected to open in November 2025.

Amana Healthcare Bahrain will provide world-class clinical care to three main categories of patients:

Ventilated Patients

Non-Ventilated Patients

Job Overview

Reporting to the Assistant Nurse Manager/ Nurse Manager, the Registered Nurse II is responsible for providing and maintaining a high standard of individualized nursing care to patients and their family members according to current best-evidence based standards, using best judgement at all times in alignment with NHRA and organization policies, procedures, guidelines and standards.

Specialist Anesthesia

Responsibilities

Oversees the clinical activities of the clinical team and assumes responsibility for the care of the patient.

Complies with all established organizational and asset policies regarding admissions, consultations, daily patient care, surgical procedures, discharge protocols, outpatient, and follow-up practices.

Leads family-centered patient rounds; reassesses both inpatients and outpatients on a regular basis, in line with established best practice.

Accurately documents all relevant clinical information in a clear and timely fashion in accordance with established procedures.

Ensures preparation of patients for all procedures including obtaining informed consent.

Participates in and ensures the provision of out-of-hours (on call) coverage on a rotational basis, including evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Communicates clinical information to patients and the patient’s family (with consent of the patient) in a timely manner.

Qualifications

MBBS or MBChB or equivalent

Completion of specialty qualification as per the National Health Regulatory Authority Bahrain.

At least 2 years of experience post training.
